Alex, George, Meredith, Cristina and I were all in Izzie's room tasting food for Meredith and Derek's wedding while Bailey was running tests.

"Chicken," Alex said.

"Good chicken," George said.

"Yeah, chicken," Meredith and I said.

"I know it's chicken. I want to know what it tastes like," Izzie said.

"Tastes like chicken," Alex said.

"I'm having surgery today," Izzie said.

"Maybe. If the METS have shrunk," Bailey said.

"I am maybe having surgery today, and as such, I cannot taste the chicken for myself, so I really need you guys to tell me what it tastes like. I need to nail down this dinner so I can announce it on Meredith and Derek's wedding website," Izzie said.

"There's a website?" Meredith asked.

"So can you please be a little more articulate than just chicken?" Izzie asked. I took another bite out of the chicken.

"Okay soft, not dry, good flavour not too overpowering," I said.

"Thank you," Izzie said. Derek walked out of the bathroom in a suit.

"Oh, that's the one," Izzie said taking a picture.

"Very dapper, Dr Shepherd," Bailey said.

"You're serious about this? It's not some cruel joke?" Derek asked.

"You look fantastic. He looks fantastic, right?" Izzie asked.

"Yeah," Meredith said.

"Uh, whatever," Cristina said as Derek walked back into the bathroom.

"Good luck with your scan," George said to Izzie. "Good chicken," He added as Meredith and Cristina followed him out. Alex kissed Izzie's cheek before leaving.

"Okay so I didn't plan my own wedding but I was dragged up by WASPs which according to Addison means I pick up little things," I said. "And I know my food,"

"Try the pork," Izzie said. I tried the pork.

"A little chewy, the flavour is pretty weak. Not my favourite," I said.

"What about alcohol?" Izzie said.

"I drink cheap drink just for the feeling so for occasions Addison is good with alcohol. I know she's in surgery now but she should be out in around an hour," I said. "I've got patients to see but I'll see you later," I said walking out. George and I were in the ambulance bay waiting for the ambulances with traumas coming in. Cristina walked out as she pulled gloves on.

"Hey, what are you doing here? The chief specifically asked me to cover Mer in the pit," Cristina said.

"We're on Hunt's service all month," George said.

"O'Malley. Montgomery-Sloan," Hunt said walking out. "Hey there now," Hunt said to Cristina. "Uh, Lieutenant, update me," Hunt said as the ambulance came in.

"Two ambulances. Three patients, one critical. Multiple gun wounds," I said as we met the medics.

"Mike Carlson, 35, multiple GSWS. Last BP, 88 systolic after 2 boluses of LR," The medic relayed.

"Where was he shot?" Hunt asked.

"Chest, abdomen, back, legs, shoulder," The medic said as a second ambulance arrived.

"Someone meant business," George said as we began following the bed inside.

"I'm not so sure about that," The medic said. We got the patient into a trauma room and began working on him. George and I were counting gunshot wounds.
