4th period

sunjin had completely forgotten about sunwoo. the girl didn't do it on purpose really, but her friends had distracted her. she forgot she was going to walk with sunwoo to her next class.

"hey sunjin!" a voice called out behind her.

sunjin turned around confused, stopping a bit. her eyes meet sunwoo. eyes widen in realization.

"omg sunwoo i'm so sorry i forgot" the girl was embarrassed for getting something like this. how could she be so stupid. her worries though left when she heard the boy laugh. a feeling in her stomach grew.

"it's okay really, you didn't leave yet. i can still walk you yeah?" the boy smiled at her. oh god that smile.

she nodded at him. they both walked out of the classroom together.

"i bet they'll get together in the next two weeks"

"i'm not betting on them"

"stop being so lame jungwon and bet already"

jungwon rolled his eyes at misu before leaving the classroom. the girl had complained behind him before catching up.

"what jungwon, feeling annoyed already~" misu teased the boy. jungwon face turned into a scowl at this.

"shut up misu, you don't know what you're talking about" jungwon replied back but with an annoyed voice. misu simply laughed.

"mmm if i recall correctly, you had a crush on sunjin. now i'm not scientist but i can definitely play cupid! you still got feelings for her?"

did he? did he still have feelings for her? the feeling when his little young self saw her in a pretty dress, his cheeks turned bright red. the feeling when she cried to him over a boy that rejected her, his heart broke at the sight. the feeling when he noticed her mature more and boys took notice at this, he wanted to protect her from them.

jungwon was thinking so hard. he doesn't know himself. he was conflicted but he wasn't going to ruin his precious friendship over his stupid feelings. he'll do anything for her, and if it meant to see her with another guy, happy? he'll gladly take it.

sunjin was doing a good job. she didn't stutter, yet. she didn't turn red and wasn't showing any signs of nervousness. she mentally thanked herself for that.

"so sunjin tell me about yourself" sunwoo asked the girl beside him. they were walking pretty slow to their next class so it gave them time to talk.

"mm i'm 17, have 7 brothers, i dance and i love spicy foods. but also sweet because i love ice cream too. what about you?"

"spicy and sweet huh? i'll keep that in mind" the boy smiled at her. "i'm 17 too, i have a younger sister, i play soccer and i love juices"

"soccer? that's cool! are you trying out for the soccer team?" sunjin questioned sunwoo who seemed deep in thought.

"i don't know yet. i'm still debating it" the boy finally mustered an answer. the girl nodded her head.

"you should try it. it could be fun plus you're doing an after school activity." sunjin reminded the boy. he forgot he had to sign up for something. the principal had told him to do it during lunch.

"maybe i'll try. will you come to my games and watch me if i join?" this caught sunjin off guard. she felt her face heat up a bit, praying it wasn't noticeable. what the heck was she supposed to say?

"um if you want me to, yeah i can" this pleased the boy next to her who smiled.

the two continued small talk before arriving at sunjin's class. sunwoo had his class a couple of classrooms down the girls. they both slowed down even more. not wanting to leave each other yet.

"thank you for walking me, i appreciate it" sunjin smiled at the boy.

"of course, i can always walk you. i don't mind at all" he smiled back. sunjin pondered a bit before asking.

"wanna hangout for lunch?"

sunwoo definitely didn't expect that but was happy the girl asked. he felt happy he wouldn't be alone. but let's be honest, if the boy had asked someone, they would definitely let him sit with them.

"of course. i can come to your class, does that sound good?" he asked her. sunjin nodded her head before saying bye.
