Isabella
I called the Sheriff again immediately after Caleb had left but there was no answer. On the way home I wondered, would Caleb really call me when he gets to wherever he's going? Will I see him again?

Life here felt purposeless all of the sudden. The idea of going to school was brutal, the image of running into Holden or Kyla made me want to hurl and so I headed home instead.
I thought about the picture of my grandmother that Caleb found in my room. I wondered what else I would find? I needed more information, now that I was a shifted wolf, what should I expect and was I technically considered a rogue if I didn't belong to a pack?

Technically you're a Waru, I thought but what did it matter when the only other shifted Waru was long gone.
I wondered if it would be dangerous to eventually make our way back to each other. The rogues would find out about my existence and there will be two targets instead of one.

I searched the basement for more pictures or any documents or paper trail that could have led to more information. I found nothing but a photo album of pictures of my dad, mom and I from years ago. There was one picture of my grandmother and grandfather. There was no clue nor indication that she was ever a werewolf. I suddenly remembered a box of old photos up in moms room. I ran up to her room and searched her closet for a torn up cardboard box and felt like I hit the jackpot. In the box were hundreds of photos. I found ones of my grandmother standing alongside Caleb's parents who looked like teenagers at the time. On the back of  the pictures was the location scribbled in black on; Woodstock, Vermont. I even found a picture of the entire pack, and my mother as a baby. I wondered if she ever had the slightest clue that her mother might have been different?
There were also newspapers in the box and I wondered why my mother even had these.
12 DEAD IN BRUTAL WOLF ATTACK IN BISBEE, ARIZONA.

WOLF PACK IN VANCOUVER KILLS THREE.

The most recent one caught my eye ; CHILD DEAD AFTER WOLF FIGHT IN WOODSTOCK VERMONT.

This was the newspaper relating to Caleb's brother's death, why did she have this?

I waited until she got home. I had rehearsed asking her questions several times but there didn't seem to be a right way.

"What's the matter with you?" She asked at the look of my face when she walked in through the front door.

I shrugged," just thinking."

"About what? I hope it's not that trash Holden-" she set some bags of groceries on the kitchen floor.

"I didn't know you used to live in Woodstock Vermont," I said," how come you never mentioned that?"

She froze for a second as if she were thinking of how to reply,"how did you know that?"

"I found a photo album of grandma holding you when you were a baby. The back said Woodstock, Vermont."

She started to put the groceries away and into the cabinets and the fridge," I didn't live there, your grandmother just had a ton of friends that lived there so we sometimes would visit."
