I was still in shock that I made up a book idea on the spot and everyone seemed to like the idea, but I still had one problem left. I had never written anything like that before or been through something like that. I didn't want to write a Single White Female rip-off even though the book idea shared those creepy themes with it. I wanted it to be original and my own thing.

My friends and I went back to my place to celebrate my success and it was the best time to since they had just met Bex. I wanted Bree and Jolene to like her and have that instant connection like I had with her and everything was great so far.

"I still can't believe I did that and hid my inner fear as best as I could." I giggled.

"You are a natural." Bree responded and smiled.

"You were so cool, Sabrina." Bex gushed.

"Thank you." I responded and grinned at her.

"You are very welcome." Bex replied with a quick nod and smiled at me.

"Bex, tell us about yourself. Tell us all the gory details." Jolene said and chuckled.

"Well... I go to college here in NYC." Bex responded.

"What school do you go to?" Bree asked. I could hear the suspicion in her tone of voice and I rolled my eyes.

" I go to Walden University." Bex answered.

"Interesting, so tell me about your background history--"

"Bree, no!" I shot at her and glared at her as she looked back at me with wide eyes. "This is my night Bree," I huffed. "And Bex is my friend too. You don't have to act overprotective over me, I am not your child!" I shouted at her.

"I can go if I am causing problems." Bex said and got up from the couch.

"No, you're not." I responded and looked at her and Bex sat back down in response.

"I'm sorry, you're right." Bree sighed and looked down at the floor as if she were a puppy who had been caught making a big mess and I instantly regretted yelling at her and frowned as I looked back at her.

"I'm sorry, I lost my temper," I paused as I gave her a smile. "I get what you're trying to do and I appreciate it." I sighed in defeat.

"I never meant to offend you or steal your night." Bree responded.

"I know," I mumbled and nodded. "You are a great friend." I said and hugged her.

"Thank you, I try to be." Bree sighed and hugged me back.

After everyone left, I cleaned up around my apartment and thought about my book and how I could write it. I knew I needed to do some amount of research so it could make any bit of sense. My phone beeped and I checked to see who it was. I saw Bex's name and a text notification and checked to see what she said.

Heyyyyyyyyyyyy :D :D :) :) What's up?!

I put the phone down and finished up my night cleaning and took my phone to my room and decided to text back. She will understand when I say I am tired. There is no way she would get mad at me... right? Bex is nice. She will understand and let me sleep. I thought to myself.

Hey :) I am sorry. I don't want to be rude but it's getting late but let's talk tomorrow, OK? :)

I didn't want to sound rude to her, but I was genuinely tired, and I was ready to go to sleep. I sighed and plugged my phone into the charger and then my phone beeped but this time it beeped nonstop, and I groaned and picked it up seeing Bex's name over and over in the screen and checked it.
