Lydia made me stay in my bedroom with my left hand handcuffed to my bed. I was too scared to upset her or try to escape knowing that I could die at any moment. Lydia had told me she would sleep on my couch to make sure I could not escape or call and turn her in to the cops. I sat on my bed, staring at the walls in my bedroom for what felt like forever as I stayed quiet until I heard and saw my door open, seeing Lydia smiling at me as she was holding a bowl of mac and cheese and gave it to me.
"Lydia, please don't kill me." I pleaded in a soft whisper.
"I plan not to," Lydia responded coldly. "Yet... anyways, now eat, I know you must be hungry by now since you been here three hours." Lydia demanded as she glared at me.
"But we are friends," I breathed. "Lydia, I know you don't want to hurt me, you're too kind."
"That was until you went behind my back and decided to do a background check on me," Lydia spat. "You betrayed me, I only wanted to protect and be there for you, make you happy, get rid of things that would hurt you in any way possible, but you decided to hurt me!" Lydia yelled in my face, spitting on me.
"You lied to me about everything, Lydia," I argued. "Your name, you said you went to a college that you don't, you went as far as lying to me about your age."
"I had to do it." Lydia responded with a lazy shrug. "I could not have mommy dearest and the cops on my behind."
"Did you kill Rachel like you killed your friend, Natalie?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
"Natalie was never my friend!" Lydia screamed. "She did not see all the things I had done for her; she threw me away like trash, just like you!"
"Did you kill Rachel?" I asked.
"Yes." Lydia answered in a montane voice.
"Why?" I asked, tearing up.
"You know why, Sabrina," Lydia sighed. "Rachel was self-centered, toxic, and so much more and she was hurting you and besides you said you would get rid of her if you could." Lydia finished and rolled her eyes.
"That was a joke!" I shouted. "You can't murder people for hurting other people's feelings."
"I was only protecting you and this is the thanks I get?"
"You've hurt and killed people before," I said. "Dylan is lucky he is still alive and not a part of your body count."
"You know what, Sabrina?" Lydia laughed.
"What?" I coldly responded.
"I thought you would be different from Natalie, Dylan, everyone really," Lydia answered and shook her head. "But you are just like the rest of them," Lydia sighed. "I became a fan of yours since your first book came out, I admired your work and you as a person. All I had ever wanted was to be your best friend and get to know you, but you disappointed me." Lydia said as a tear rolled down her cheek.
"If you plan on killing me, do it now." I taunted her.
"Not yet bestie, I want you to suffer first." Lydia laughed and grinned at me. "Starting with your friends, I am going to lure them one at a time because let's face it, two against one? Unfair," Lydia laughed. "But here is the best part," Lydia whispered as she went closer to my ear. "When I kill them, I will make you watch as they die slowly and when I am done, then I will kill you." Lydia whispered softer, smirking.
"You will not get away with this, Lydia. You will get caught and get thrown back to a mental hospital where you belong." I whispered, shaking my head.
"But I already have." Lydia whispered back and stood back up. "Now eat!" Lydia shouted and left the room, slamming the door loudly.
