It was late at night, and I was on my laptop. I was trying to google Rebecca, but nothing had come up. Everything was a dead end until I remembered what Rebecca had said in a conversation. I go to Walden University. Rebecca's voice echoed in my mind. I sighed knowing I could not call right at this very moment.
"Great," I sighed in defeat and rolled my eyes both annoyed and feeling defeated." I mumbled to myself and groaned as I had turned off my laptop and had shut my laptop. I wrote down in one of my sticky notes so I would not forget about calling Walden University.
Maske sure to call Walden University tomorrow. Ask about Rebecca Ray. I had written down for myself and had gotten ready for bed.
The next morning, I woke up and ate eggs and bacon while drinking a cup of hot coffee for breakfast. My mind was busy with crazy thoughts and fear. I knew something was off and I needed to listen to Bree and do a major background check on Rebecca. I had finished my breakfast and then I got my phone and called Walden University.
"Hello! Thank you for calling Walden University, this is Cady, how may I help you today?" Cady greeted in the phone politely.
"Hello, my name is Sabrina Hart and I have a question about a college student of yours." I answered.
"I am really sorry but all of our college student's privacy is very important to us." Cady replied.
"I just need to verify if there is a college student by the name I am looking for, it is a legal thing." I assured her.
"Uh... okay? Who is the student that you are looking for?" Cady asked.
"Rebecca Ray." I answered.
"Okay," Cady mumbled. "Give me one minute, okay?"
"Sure thing."
I had waited for a response for about five minutes since Cady had said anything. I was getting more and more nervous as the seconds had passed. What is going on? Should I tell her to forget it? What if I am going nuts? What if Rebecca is innocent? Am I overthinking?
"Are you still with me, Sabrina?" Cady asked, breaking the silence making me jump.
"Yeah," I sighed. "I am still here." I answered, rubbing my head.
"I'm sorry but we have no current student that has the name Rebecca Ray." Cady explained.
"I can't believe this; I can't believe it." I murmured and shook my head.
"I am really sorry, ma'am." Cady apologized.
"No," I replied. "It is fine, thank you so much for your help." I said, grateful but scared.
"It was my pleasure; do you have any more questions for me today?" Cady responded.
"No but thank you so much." I thanked her.
"Okay well... you have a good rest of your day." I heard Cady's smile.
"You do the same." I said with a smile and hung up.
