I quickly got a knife from my kitchen and ran back to the door and answered it seeing Lydia and I gasped as she grinned and raised an eyebrow."Hey, Rebecca." I said, trying to sound calm.
"Who did you think I was? Some crazy killer or something?" Lydia asked and chuckled looking down at my knife. Of course, I do. You are literally a freaking killer! My thoughts screamed in my mind.
"No," I giggled, shaking my head. "Of course not."
"You know..." Lydia started to say. "I am not quite sure I believe that." Lydia whispered and came in, slamming the door behind her. Play dumb. Be dumb.
"Why wouldn't you?" I asked, shrugging and forced a small laugh.
"You really should check the contact you are texting before you hit send, Sabrina," Lydia sighed. "You wouldn't want certain people to know you are talking about them behind their backs like a two-faced person, now, would you?" Lydia asked in a threatening tone that sent chills down my spine and gave me a smile that had made me feel uneasy.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked as I crossed my arms and raised my eyebrow at her.
Lydia laughed, shaking her head as she took out her phone and I stood there, watching her use her phone and thought about ways I could defend myself and then showed me her phone's screen.
I am going home tomorrow as soon as I can. Watch your backs! I have done some extra digging on Rebecca. We all know that Rebecca Ray is not her real name, but she killed a friend of hers. Bree, I am sorry for doubting you. You were right. I really didn't know her at all. I think she killed Rachel.
My eyes went back up to her, meeting her cold, heartless gaze as I realized and knew that I screwed up and my mouth made an o shape.
"I know," Lydia sighed and shook her head as she glared at me. "It was a shocker for me too." Lydia shook her head more and chuckled as she put her phone in her pocket and revealed a gun from her coat and aimed it at me. I looked closer at it, realizing it was Jolene's gun.
"How did you steal Jole--"
"It's really easy stealing someone else's personal belongings for your own benefit, right?" Lydia snapped, reminding me of the picture Jolene had sent me.
"Lydia, you don't have to do this," I responded as I raised my arms slowly. "We are friends, remember?"
"That was before you betrayed me and my trust and went behind my back as if you didn't trust me!" Lydia shouted. "I was your biggest fan, remember?" Lydia asked, tears forming in her eyes. "I would have never hurt you, Sabrina!"
"Lydia, please let's sit down and--"
"No, you will sit down, and I will be running the show, starting off," Lydia huffed, interrupting me. "Give me the knife!" Lydia demanded, shouting.
"Okay," I said as I nodded slowly as I gave it to her and sat down. "You run the show, not me."
