3RD PERSON POV.

Eleven-year-old Lee Y/N ran around the small structure that she called home, waving her hands through the air and creating elegant streams of water with each movement.

Many people in the small nation were shocked when they found out that the young firebender could also bend water, because that could only mean one thing.

A few moments passed, along with little Y/N's giggles, until Y/N's mother and father, Lee Chunji and Lee Dokyung, entered the home, her father picking up the little girl and spinning her around. The two young parents wished that this could last a little longer, maybe even forever, but they knew it couldn't. The word about Y/N had spread like wildfire and, within a week, officials from Seoul city were going to come to pick her up to relocate her to the Jeju Island water tribe, where she would spend the next few years mastering water. After that, they will have masters from Daegu, Ilsan, and Seoul city come to Jeju island to mentor her, to help her master the other three elements, fire, earth, and air.

Growing up, you were never quite fond of making friends, due to how introverted you are. Thankfully, you were given Oona, your polar bear dog and best companion. Oona was given to you when you first arrived at Jeju-do, nine years ago, as a welcome gift. Throughout your time on the island, the Seoul city officials tasked you with helping the villagers with any problems they had, to help prepare you for your duty as avatar. You even managed to make a friend thanks to a couple of these tasks. You always asked to help around and, to be honest, it never really bothered you. All the tasks you were asked to do, you did with ease.

Until your last task before leaving (The Seoul city officials later decided it would be best for you to learn air bending in Seoul city).

One of the things the Jeju-do tribe was known for was the Sakana, an enormous fish that lurks in the waters surrounding the tribe. A few moments ago, a couple of villagers came to you, telling you that the Sakana was on land. You looked at the couple in disbelief, but nonetheless hopped on Oona's back and headed towards a certain hut in the village.

There were only two other water benders in the village, and they were your friend and her mother, so you were gonna ask for their help.

"I'll be right back, girl." You hopped off of Oona's back and padded through the snow that covered the ground in a thin white blanket.

You headed inside the cozy hut and grabbed a snow flower fruit from the bowl near the entrance, taking a big bite of it.

"Yoorim! Ms. Kim! Anyone home?"

A brunette much taller than you nonchalantly entered through the back entrance of the hut, followed by a woman with charcoal black hair. The woman set the wood that she was carrying down by some older logs of wood, and proceeded to shrug off her coat.

"Hello, dear! What brings you by?" She asked.

"I came by because I need your help, ma'am. I received a task today-I have to get the Sakana back in the water, because it apparently flopped out. Can you two help me?"

Yoorim threw a necklace to you, which you caught by reflex, offering you a head nod. "I'll explain what that's for later. We know that you're leaving today, and that's our gift. Now, let's go help that Sakana."

The three of you rushed out of the hut and hopped onto Oona's back. As usual, Ms. Kim secretly gave Oona a moon cake.

"Yah, eomma! stop giving Oona moon cakes-"

You chuckled at the mother and daughter's constant bickering back and forth.

You gave Oona's side a little nudge with your foot. "Let's go, girl." And with that, she took off towards the waters, weaving through huts and trampling through the snow.

Oona's running came to a halt in front of the mother and daughter's hut, as Yoorim and Ms. Kim jumped down from her back. The three of you had just gotten back from getting the Sakana back in the water, which proved to be exhausting. Yoorim and Ms. Kim were especially tired; for them, it took more juice than they thought. You, on the other hand, felt perfectly fine.

"Okay, let's get changed for the ceremony!" Yoorim said.

"Okay, Unnie." You hopped off of Oona and let her lie down in the snow, before softly running your fingers through her snow white fur. "Happy seven years together, my baby." You whispered to her, giggling when you saw her tail wagging happily. Then you followed the other two and ran into the hut.

You were getting ready to attend your ceremony, which the village was throwing in honor of your going away.

After several minutes, you, Yoorim, and Ms. Kim all came out, dressed in their outfits and ready to have a little fun at your ceremony.

"Let's party!"
