bodyguard › HUH YUNJIN ver.

The ocean breeze softly brushed your hair aside, gently caressing your face as though it were a warm hand. You were standing by the railing of the boat, simply enjoying the view displayed in front of you. The boat hasn't taken off yet, but that just gave you time to admire.

You were slightly startled when you felt a presence beside you. You turned your head to look at her.

You smiled. "Hey," you called out quietly.

Yunjin nodded, her face blank. You pouted in response to her cold reply. "How come all you do is nod and grunt? Smile a little!" You whined.

It seemed as though she was fighting back a small smile.

The moment was interrupted when you heard screaming from behind you. You both immediately spun around, and you were met with people running in the other direction, screaming loudly, fearful expressions painting their faces. Then, you heard two familiar pops.

Gunshots.

Your blood ran cold at the sound that seemed to echo in your head. Those sounds are the reason why Yunjin is even there with you. You immediately crouched down as your eyes watered, and eventually, the tears began to flow freely.

Yunjin, however, immediately kicked into gear. She forced you to stand up and looked into your eyes. "Y/N, listen to me. I'm going to escort you to the crowd and you're going to stay there, do you understand? If you-"

She was cut off when someone suddenly grabbed her from behind and put her in a chokehold. She was quick to react and elbow whoever it was as hard as she could, and once they were vulnerable, she flipped them over her shoulder and slammed them on the ground.

As you watched the two of them fight, you stilled in your place when you felt an arm snake around your waist and a hand cover your mouth. Malicious laughter filled the air.

You turned your head ever so slightly and saw the face of a man, looking at you like you were a prize hog. You attempted to scream, but he simply pressed his hand harder against your mouth. Without much thought, you bit down on his hand.

"Yunjin!" Before you could say the words help me, you were kicked from behind and sent tumbling to the floor. Luckily, your elbows broke the fall-unfortunately, it really hurt.

Yunjin, who had the person she was fighting pinned to the floor, snapped her head up, and you watched as her eyes widened. She hastily knocked out the person underneath her, and then, she began sprinting towards you.

She was quick to tackle the man who had kicked you down before he could do any further damage to you, and then the two of them engaged in combat.

Since they were right next to you, you scrambled away and covered your eyes, not wanting to see any of it.

After a few minutes passed, it was quiet. And then you felt someone drop to their knees in front of you and wrap their arms around you. You jumped, but cried out happily when you heard her voice.

"Shh, shh. It's alright now, baby girl, I promise. I promise. I'll get you out of here, don't worry," she whispered in your ear.

You lifted your head to look at her, tears brimming your eyes. "I'm so thankful to have you here with me. If you weren't, I would have- I would have-"

Yunjin pressed her index finger against your lips, silencing you. "Hey, don't think like that. I'm not gonna let anything happen to you, okay? From now on, I'm keeping you even closer, got it?"

You smiled as you wiped your tears and nodded your head. "Got it."

With that, she smiled and helped you stand up, before lifting you into the air bridal style, and carrying you off of the boat along with everybody else.

"I've got you, Y/N. I guarantee I've got you," she mumbled.
