A/N: Before you start reading, I just want to say thank you for 200 followers, and for all of the reads, comments, and votes that everyone leaves on this book, and on the NJ one. I know I say it a lot, but it really means a lot to me. I'm still so shocked that my books got so much attention, especially in such a short time. Specifically my NJ book, I was honestly super surprised that that book hit 1K in like,, a few days, can you believe that ?? Anyway, thank you, I love you all !

The room had a dull air to it, as the only sounds present were the ones of you preparing breakfast, and the whispers of the wind and leaves outside the window.

You hummed quietly to yourself as you finished placing the food neatly on the tray. You picked the tray up and carefully made your way out of the kitchen, up the three steps of stairs, down the hall, and into the bedroom.

You smiled as you looked at the love of your life, Yoo Jimin-or as she likes to be called, Karina. The two of you fell in love at an underground race a few years ago. She used to be a famous drag racer, but those days are over. They've been over for a little over a year, ever since her accident which left her paralyzed from the waist down.

"Good morning." You spoke gently.

Karina turned her head away from the window and smiled at you. "Good morning, my love."

You walked over and set the tray down on the bedside table and then helped her sit up. You pulled up the extending table and pushed it in front of her, before setting the tray down on it. You then sat down beside her legs and rested your hand on her blanketed knee, gently caressing it.

"How are you feeling today?" You asked.

Karina set her fork down and looked towards the window pensively. "I feel... fine today." She said. She then turned back to you. Her gaze was mellow and full of gratitude.

Your smile softened, already knowing what was coming next.

"Thank you, baby. For taking care of me. I know I say it everyday, but I just want you to know that every single day, I am so grateful for you. Every single day, I am so proud of you. And every single day, I am so much more in love with you than I was the day before, if it's even possible. And I wish I could take care of you more, but-"

"I know, Rina, I know. But it's okay. I love taking care of you. It can be hard sometimes, but what's life without hardship, hm? We always get through our hardships together. Don't fret. I love you so, so much." Your voice fell to a whisper near the end as you moved closer to connect your forehead with hers.

She exhaled shakily, causing you to look up. Your heart broke the second you saw the tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Baby, baby, no, don't cry." You cooed, leaning towards the bedside for a tissue. You gently wiped her cheeks. You cupped her face and showered her with kisses, grinning to yourself when you finally saw a smile appear on her face. You leaned down and pecked her lips, giggling when she pulled you back down for more.

"I love you." She said, looking up at you. She held your hand and stroked the back of it lovingly. "I love you too." You whispered in reply.

You squeezed her hand and then stood from the bed, making her whine.

You laughed as you stretched your aching back. "We're going to the park today, just like you wanted, so I'm gonna go get ready real quick and then come back to help you, okay?" You watched as Karina nodded, and ruffled her hair. You bent down and kissed her forehead. "I love you, babe." And with that, you walked out of the room and headed to yours, missing the words Karina muttered under her breath.

"I hope you say yes."

You exhaled deeply as you felt the autumn breeze dance around you, blowing strands of your hair to the side. You looked over and smiled at Karina, who was taking small sips from the hot chocolate in her hand. She was sitting in her wheelchair beside the bench you were seated on.

"Karina."

"Hm?"

"Do you ever still... miss your racing days?" You asked slowly. There was a slight tilt of your head as you kept your gaze on the autumn leaves littering the park grounds.

"Babe," Your eyes lit up in the slightest bit as two fingers hooked under your jaw and turned your head. Karina looked at you with a fond gaze and brushed her fingers along your jaw. "It's okay to ask me those types of questions. To answer you... Yes, I do. A lot, actually. But what's done is done, and there's nothing that can change what happened. But everything is alright in my life as long as I have you, cutie."

You smiled and nodded. "Thank you for telling me. I've just been a little curious lately." You explained.

You quirked a brow when Karina suddenly wheeled in front of you. She pulled out an object from her coat pocket. A black, velvet box. Your eyes widened as your lips slightly parted. She grabbed your hand.

"If you could please stand up, m'lady." She asked softly. You giggled and stood up on wobbly legs. Your nerves were through the roof.

Is this really happening? You felt happiness overcome your entire body the second that Karina looked up into your eyes.

She opened the box. Inside was a beautiful diamond ring. You clasped a hand over your mouth as tears brimmed your eyes and spilled down your red cheeks. How long has she been planning this?

Karina held the box in one hand, and in the other, held yours in hers. She pressed a lingering kiss against the back of your hand before looking back up at you.

"Y/N L/N," She spoke. There were stars in her eyes as she said your name, making you whimper and let out a quiet sob as you held a hand over your heart. "It's been almost four years since we started dating. Time flew by fast. I remember our first date, when we went to Giselle's restaurant and bribed her into letting us eat free." You both chuckled at this. "And I'll always remember the night I met your parents and your dad made me wash the dishes and do his and your mom's laundry... and yours." You flushed an ever brighter shade of red as you recalled the funny memory. "But now, I'm creating another memory for us that we'll remember forever. That is, if you're willing to spend your forever with me."

More tears cascaded down your cheeks, which you messily wiped as you cried somewhat loudly. You inhaled and offered Karina a shaky smile with watery eyes, and squeezed her hand. She took that as a sign to continue.

"I love everything about you. I love your strengths, I love your flaws. I love the way you get mad at me when I throw my shirts onto the floor, I love the way you always manage to make everyone in the room smile, and I love the way you carry yourself strongly regardless of what's happening around you. I love the way you love me. And, God, I love the way you make me feel everyday. I'm so thankful, each and every day, for the amount of time out of your day that you devote to helping me get around, helping me take care of myself, and helping me live easier. I couldn't ask anyone for a better girlfriend. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you. No regrets. I love you so much, and I never want to let you go. So..."

You held your breath as you once again clasped a hand over your mouth.

"Will you marry me? Pretty please?" She added with a playful grin. You laughed through your tears and nodded.

"Yes."

"Yes?"

"Yes, dummy!"

Karina laughed and slid the ring onto your finger. As soon as she did, she let go of your hand and pulled you down to wipe your tears. When she was finished, you leaned in, cupping her cheeks and bringing her into a passionate, loving kiss. Your lips moved against each other's smoothly. When you pulled apart, you rested your forehead against hers.

"I love you."

Cheers and applause erupted around you, and it was then that you took notice of the small crowd that had formed around the two of you. You smiled and nuzzled your nose against Karina's, smiling when you heard her burst into a fit of happy giggles.
