𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄 - now four - took their sunglasses off and entered the private plane, headed to see a woman named Selby. Zemo had some connections with her still due to the Winter Soldier project.
Turns out, Baron Zemo was rich, super rich. He had tons of posh cars stored away before they got on his own jet. The flying vehicle looked brand new.
Adella sat opposite Bucky since there wasn't any connecting chairs, their legs resting against the other. A butler passed out champagne to Zemo while the two spoke in Sokovian causing the original trio share a look of concern.
"You don't know what it's like to be locked in a cell." Zemo sighed then faced Sam. "Oh, that's right, you do." The man's attention turned to Addie, a grin appearing across his lips. "And you do but in... different circumstances."
The Rogers' tried not to think about the past, where she was locked up after being humiliated and tested on.
"Did you have a point to that or are you just being a prick?" Adella rhetorically asked.
Bucky glared at Zemo before he could speak. "Shut up."
Ignoring those comments, Sam questioned him. "Why don't you tell us about where we're going?"
Zemo brushed the man off with a flick of his hand, apologising before reading the words off of the book he held which was hiding another small book that belonged to Bucky.
"I don't know what to call it, but this part seems to be important. Who is Nakajima?" Zemo asked, holding the hidden book up. The name was circled multiple times.
The name belonged to a list that Bucky had to make amends with, people he wronged as The Winter Soldier.
Instantly, Bucky's hand wrapped against Zemo's throat out of anger. "If you touch that again, I'll kill you."
Zemo nodded in understanding but the grip that was forced against his skin was still there. Adella lightly touched Bucky's arm which caused him to let go and return back to his seat.
The one thing that Zemo didn't mention, was that Adella's name was in there also. Bucky silently thanked him for not saying her name, not wanting the love of his life to remember something that happened many, many years ago. Not wanting her views to change on him. He had just got her back... he couldn't lose her again.
The Super Soldier tucked the book in his pocket.
"I've seen that book. It was Steve's when he came out of the ice. I told him about Trouble Man. He wrote it in that book." Sam said.
