𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐔𝐃𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐓 different for Adella. The way she ate, the way she felt, the way she acted towards people who would accidentally bump into her.  She didn't think anything of it until, walking back from the shops, a sharp pain grew in her stomach.

Addie would ignore the pains, blaming it on the fighting sessions she'd give herself every evening but then it felt worse.

Adella went straight to her friend Agent, him jokingly saying she was pregnant and the pain was due to the baby forming as a Super Soldier.

After the short visit, she bought a pregnancy test.

Adella tapped her hands on her thighs nervously as she sat on the bathroom floor in her Brooklyn apartment, waiting for two minutes to pass. Picking the skin around her thumbs, the countdown in her head hit zero.

Adella's eyes could clearly see what the test said: positive.

Her heart raced, not knowing what to think. She always wanted a mini her to look after, but not in this way. She wanted to raise her child with a father that would definitely love it, and for the baby to meet its whole family, blood related or not. But none of that could happen.

The man she was with previously was just a one time thing... or it was supposed to be. Being on her own since the closest people to her dusted did make her lonely, she just wished she was able to get drunk instead of having sex with this one guy constantly to feel better.

The 'fling' always asked her out on dates, hoping to get in a relationship with her. Adella would say no every time, her heart belonging with a certain soldier who's gone. Growing angrier and angrier, the man tried drugging her and taking her back to his place so he could 'keep her' - words he said to the Rogers' woman - but Adella saw it coming. She'd been taken once, she won't allow it to happen again.

The Born Super Soldier beat him up until he could barely form words. His breaths became shorter and shorter until she was adamant that he was dead... killed by Captain America's daughter.

Her breathing grew faster and heavier, eyes welding with water. Without thinking, her fingers typed in a number she remembered off by heart.

She waited patiently for the person to answer, even though her feet caused her to walk back and fourth repeatedly.

After the third ring, the call was answered.

Adella's breathing returned back to normal, her body staying still by the voice of the man. The tears threatening to leave her eyes sunk away.
