𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 everywhere they turned. The place was like a maze. This doctor who created the serum is apparently in one of them. Sharon lead the four to the one he's in.
Adella's jacket pocket felt slightly heavy since it had her combat knife in it. At first it was too big to fit, but remembered there was a button to make the blade fall in the handle. She looked around every corner before taking the turn, being cautious in case someone jumped out at them.
"With that bounty on your head, the longer you're in Madripoor, the less likely you're ever leaving." Sharon said, watching her phone to see if they were going the right way. "I'll keep an eye out for you guys while you talk to Nagel. But hurry. We're on borrowed time."
After a few more turns, the blonde woman announced they were there and handed everyone an ear piece.
The Rogers' opened a door to the storage unit, creaking as the sky glowed through. A puzzled look expressed on her face. It was empty.
"Sharon, there's nothing in here." Adella spoke to the woman through the ear piece.
The three behind her furrowed their eyebrows in confusion before walking inside.
"You sure this is the right one?" Sam questioned.
"Positive. It has to be." Sharon replied.
A flashlight was turned on, Zemo pointed it at every corner, trying to find something. Adella placed her palms against the metal wall, knocking it gently to see if she can hear an echo. Her ear pressed against it but nothing happened.
"What are you doing?" Sam asked.
"When HYDRA captured me, I figured out there were tons of secret doors. Maybe there's one in here." Adella answered, moving onto the wall next to her.
She repeated the action she did before. This time, an echo emerged. Adella grinned before moving the wall, it slid across and opened an entrance.
Revealing her gun, she held it firmly in front and took a few steps in, the only source of light being the flashlight Zemo held until, going up a staircase, blue projected around the room. Music played and got more clearer when Adella moved closer to the radio. Tubes of liquid were in a glass case, chemicals and science equipment on every table.
The trio pointed their weapons to the man who had no idea they were there. Sharing a look, they nodded, Addie and Sam went closer to the Doctor who was humming along to the song.
Addie's gun inched closer to the back of his head, a gasp came from the man at the feeling of metal and Zemo turned the music off. Sam stood at the side, also pointing his gun at the man but not so close.
