Kagami and Chishiya both awoke at the same time to the sound of frantic knocking at the door. Something was very wrong and both of them knew it as they exchanged looks before Chishiya moved to the door and opened it. Kagami had expected Kuina to be standing there but instead they found Tatta, the Beach's mechanic. He had a look of fear in his eyes as he stared at Chishiya,

"Something bad has happened. You need to go to the conference room. Now. I need to find Miss An and Miss Kagami." He said stuttering as he spoke.

"I can let Kagami know. What's happened?" Chishiya asked calmly and Tatta simply shook his head,

"It's better if you just go to the conference room." He said before he hurried off back down the corridor. Chishiya stared after him for awhile before he closed the door and looked at Kagami who was still laying in bed with the covers drawn over her.

"I don't like where this is going." Kagami said, watching Chishiya who nodded in agreement.

"You go on ahead, I'm gonna get Kuina to invite Arisu to the conference room and then we'll meet up, okay?" Chishiya said, not really waiting for a response as he got his signature white hoodie on and left the room. He was in a rush which was something that unsettled Kagami even more.

Once Kagami was dressed and presentable, she had made her way to the conference room floor that was being guarded by members of the militant corp. Again, that was strange. All of them seemed to stare and her and whisper among themselves as she walked slowly up the hallway. Part of her was hoping that Chishiya would show up at any moment so she wouldn't have to walk into the room alone.

"Ah, Namika. How nice to see you." Niragi's voice sent chills up her spine. He was at the end of the hallway with his back against the door to the conference room. It seemed as though he was guarding whatever horrors laid within. Kagami tried her best not to meet his gaze as she attempted to walk past him. Niragi however, didn't let her and instead moved in front of her, "What's the rush, babe?" he asked with a grin and Kagami had no choice but to look up at him.

"Suguru." Kagami stated simply, sighing lightly as Niragi continued to step forward, giving her no choice but to retreat away from him. Unlike the last time they had met, Niragi was armed and had his gun resting against his shoulder as he kept on moving towards her.

"We're just waiting on Chishiya and An now. Any ideas on where Chishiya could be?" He asked and Kagami shrugged her shoulders.

"No clue." She lied, her eyes glued onto Niragi's face. Kagami looked behind her for only a moment in hopes that she would see Chishiya but it was enough time for Niragi to grab onto her arm and pull her over to the wall so her back was pressed against it. He was close enough to her that chest was touching his, "I don't like this." Kagami mused. Niragi simply chuckled in response as he placed his thumb and index finger on her chin and forced her to look up at him.

"You look so beautiful today." He mused, "You know, today is going to be a good day. This will be something we'll tell our kids about." He was chuckling as he spoke and Kagami tilted her head with a frown. He knew something she didn't and that frightened her.

"I thought you didn't want kids." Kagami said back.

She herself had always wanted to be a mother. Kagami wanted more than anything to prove that she could be a better mother than her own. While she might have been a vindictive and cruel woman when she wanted to be, she always felt that children were innocents and that if she did have a child, they would be nothing like her or Niragi. They would be loved and cared for. The only thing that had stopped her from fulfilling that dream was Niragi himself. Looking back at things, she was glad that her and Niragi didn't have kids between them. That would have complicated things further and Niragi and Kagami together would surely condemn any child they produced.
