Kagami stormed out of the room, trying to keep her eyes locked ahead of her as she saw Niragi and Aguni get into the elevator out of the corner of her eye. It had finally hit her, there was only one way out of this relationship. Death. She knew things were going to go terribly, but that was probably the worst possible way things could have gone down. Now, that Niragi knew that Kagami was wanting out of their relationship she was scared of the things he was going to do. He was way too calm for liking and clearly had expected her to call things off. A calm Niragi was a Niragi with a plan and Kagami was kicking herself for underestimating him. She also didn't have to think to hard when it came to who Niragi was referring to by 'him' and she wished that she would have said something. Truthfully, the question threw her off. She wasn't leaving Niragi for anybody. Love was nothing more than pain. So, why would she willingly throw herself into it once more?

Kagami tried her best to stay calm and to not overthink things. Niragi would surely make his move against Chishiya the moment that Aguni announced his take over. Which, if they were going to be opening the Black Envelope, would be soon. So, the plan needed to move quickly and more importantly, she needed to get her gun that was hidden in Niragi's room. Running for the staircase, she wasted no time as she sprinted up them and ignored the odd looks she received. She wouldn't kill Niragi, but if he were to catch up to them as they were making their escape, a well aimed shot in the shoulder would slow him down. Reaching the room, she was surprised to see that Kuina was standing outside of the door as if she had been waiting for her.

"What are you doing here, Kuina?" Kagami asked with a confused frown and in return, Kuina shot her an almost identical expression.

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you everywhere. Where did you get that shirt?" Her confused eyes then fell onto the shirt she was wearing over the top.

"Why is everyone so obsessed with the damn shirt?" She sighed, "If we're getting out of this place I want to not be in swimwear." She explained, walking past her and pushing open the door to the empty room. Kuina followed her in with a look of concern on her face as Kagami moved to the cupboard and rummaged through the bottom of it.

"What are you looking for?" Kuina asked.

"The gun I hid here." Kagami answered, searching for a few more seconds before she pulled out the black handgun and shoved it in her shorts, pulling the shirt over so she could keep it hidden. Kuina stepped forward and grabbed both of Kagami's arms.

"Stop. What's going on with you?" She asked. "Chishiya said you disappeared. Are you still with us... for the plan?"

"Yeah, of course I am. Why wouldn't I be? That's what I'm getting the gun for." Kagami explained. Kuina smiled in relief,

"Good, so where did you go this morning?" She asked and Kagami took a breath,

"I might have fucked things up after trying to break things off with Niragi... again. He then blackmailed me and now I am certain he's going to try and kill Chishiya and maybe you. But, I can handle him." She said in a rushed tone. "I know I just should have sucked it up and went through with it. But I couldn't marry him. Not even if it's fake. I won't do it." She was getting anxious and her words became more emotional as she spoke until as Kuina pulled her into a hug the taller woman shushed her.

"It's all going to be okay. Chishiya told me to find you for the plan. They're opening the Black Envelope now, so we need to get into position." Kuina pulled back and grabbed her hand to lead her out of the room. "You need to get to the balcony on the annex. Chishiya will meet you there, okay?"

"Got it." Was all Kagami said in response as the two women went their separate ways.

Kuina headed for the elevator while Kagami opted for the staircase. She needed to clear her head now that the plan was finally getting underway. Once they had the cards, they would be out of the Beach and Kagami would be free. That was what she needed to focus on. Herself. Namika Kagami was a survivor. It was perhaps one of the few things she actually liked about herself. That and she knew how to hide behind a smile. Kagami always liked to think that confidence was power and it didn't matter how fake it was as long as it was believable. She needed that power. She needed her confidence and she needed to keep those she cared about out of her mind. All that needed to matter at present was getting the cards. Kagami couldn't but smirk at the thought of those she cared about. Not once had something as frivolous as that ever stopped Kagami from anything. But this place had changed things, or maybe it was just her that had changed.
