Consequences

Kagami awoke in Chishiya's arms. He was still asleep which probably worked better in her favor as she slowly removed herself from his arms and slipped out the bed to find her clothes. She could still feel him on her skin as she put her swimsuit and shorts back on. Moving into the bathroom, she grabbed the shirt that he had gotten out for her the night before and pulled it over top her swimsuit. It was a little long on her, but once she tucked it into her shorts, it didn't look half bad. The best part about being in Chishiya's room was that thanks to her breakup with Niragi, all of her toiletries were in the bathroom. Once she was as presentable, Kagami moved towards the door as quietly as possible before slipping out. After trying to find something to eat, she was going to hunt down Tatta and then find Niragi.

As she made her way into the restaurant, she received a number of odd looks, more than likely in response to the shirt she was wearing that was clearly not a women's shirt. The hardest part was ignoring the stares from the militant members who were all whispering amongst themselves. She knew that they would go running off to Niragi as soon as they finished eating but what they didn't know was that was exactly what Kagami wanted. So long as she found Tatta before Niragi found her of course. Kagami grabbed a couple of muesli bars one of which she shoved into her pocket and the other she opened and took a bite of, turning back to face the crowd of people that were scattered around the room eating. As her eyes fell onto the militant members who watched her, she waved, causing them to immediately look away. Kagami took that as a sign that it was time to go as she walked away, still eating the muesli bar. She was going to face death with a smile... and Tatta.

Kagami made her way down to the garage where most of the Beach's cars were kept. She had managed to finish both muesli bars by the time she had made it down there and made sure to wave at every militant member she saw. As expected, Tatta was easy to spot from where he was underneath one of the cars doing whatever it was that mechanics did under cars. Kagami didn't bother announcing herself and simply kicked Tatta's foot lightly causing him to give out a half surprised, half fearful cry as he pulled himself from under the car.

"Oh, Miss Kagami, what are you doing here?" He asked, a hint of concern lacing his tone. Kagami flashed him a smile that seemed to concern him more,

"I need your help with something." She told him. Tatta sat up and looked up at her,

"Sure, what do you need help with?" He asked.

"Oh, nothing too difficult. I just want you to come with me for a little chat with Niragi." Kagami made sure to keep smiling as to not give away the point of the conversation. Tatta didn't bother to ask for more details, it was one of the reasons she picked him and simply got onto his feet and brushed his shorts off.

"Okay, I'm ready when you are." Tatta said with a smile. Kagami gave him a nod and a smile before the pair moved out of the garage.

"So Tatta, how are things with you?" Kagami asked, her eyes scanning ahead of her for any sign of her hopefully ex fiance if things went according to plan. "Excited for the takeover of our new leader?" She added, winking at Tatta who gave her a look of hesitance,

"Yeah, of course." He murmured, looking down at his feet. Kagami couldn't help but scoff at him. Lying was not something he was good at. 

"You don't need to lie to me. We both know that The Beach is fucked and we're all gonna die." She said in response.

Tatta didn't respond and looked at her like she had just told him she planned on killing him. Kagami ignored the look he gave her and focused on keeping her shoulders back and her head held high as they kept on walking. She wanted to be seen as confident. She needed all the confidence and courage she could possibly muster if she was going to go through with her plan. More people were awake now and were wondering around the Beach going about their business. The poor bastards had no idea what sort of chaos was about to go down.
