After hugging for what seemed like ages, Kuina stepped back and let go of Kagami who set her sights on Chishiya. Him being here made things a hell of a lot harder for her. Niragi would surely kill Chishiya if he found him, which was more of an incentive for Kagami to kill him first. Especially if he wasn't going to take her offer.

Kagami looked away from Chishiya, who watched her with a serious expression that made her somewhat nervous and instead took a seat on one of the swivel chairs that sat in front of the three surveillance monitors. As soon as she was sitting, Chishiya moved towards her, swinging the chair around so that she was facing him and kneeling down in front of her.

"Who did this to you?" He asked in an irritated tone that could almost be masked by his unbothered expression that Kagami was sure was just his resting face. But, instead of replying, Kagami was distracted by Chishiya's hand that had moved up to examine the side of her head. His touch was gentle as he pushed her hair away, being careful to peel off the dried blood that had caused her hair to become stuck to her face. "It's not deep enough to need stitches but it needs to be cleaned." Chishiya said more to himself than to Kagami, who just stared at him. She was holding her breath again and was terrified of Chishiya feeling the way her heart beat like a drum in her chest. Kuina and Chishiya weren't supposed to be at the Beach anymore and them still being here meant that Kagami had something to lose again. Her new best friend and the man she... the man she cared for. Both of them made things harder for her and she wasn't sure how she would cope if she lost either of them. "Kagami, are you listening? Who did this to you? Was it Niragi?" Hearing the question caused her mind to snap back to reality.

"Why are you two still here?" Kagami asked, "I thought you would have been long gone by now." She said and truthfully, as happy as she was to see the two of them, she wished that they were both long gone.

"The game's barrier came over the Beach before we could get out." Chishiya replied. "Now it's your turn to answer a question. Who did this to you?" He asked once again and it was then that she realized why Chishiya's was so determined for an answer as she caught a glimpse of herself in the reflection of the monitor. She really did look like a mess. Kagami looked between Kuina and Chishiya's serious expressions for a couple of seconds before she replied.

"Well, Saiko re-split my lip and some dude, who I did not get the name of, smacked me in the head with a gun." She told them. Chishiya and Kuina exchanged looks before he spoke once more.

"So it wasn't Niragi? You're not just lying to protect him?" Chishiya asked and Kagami shook her head.

"No. What would I even be protecting him from?" Kagami replied and the question caused Chishiya to smirk at her. She knew the answer without Chishiya even having to say a word: Him. "As much as Suguru's a shitty person, he does take his promises pretty seriously." She answered. "Fucking Suguru Niragi... that man is going to be the death of me." She mused to herself, sitting back in the chair and swinging around to look at the monitors. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched as Chishiya stood, clearly keeping his gaze locked onto her.

"So, how are you going to handle him then?" Kuina asked from behind her and Kagami couldn't help but grimace at her question. Things were much more complicated now that she knew Chishiya and Kuina were still at the Beach.

"I'm working on that, but I think I have to kill him." She said swallowing hard. "But I want to at least give him one more chance to stop all of this craziness before I... kill him." Kagami said, the words 'kill him' seemed to get stuck in her throat each time she said it.

"I'm surprised to hear that from you." Chishiya mused, drawing Kagami's gaze. He had his hands in his pockets and was looking at her almost with pride in his eyes. Not being able to hold his gaze, Kagami looked back to the screens.
