Love In Borderland Niragi x OC x Chishiya

Desperate Measures

Kagami was silent but carried her head high as she followed Saiko down to the next floor down where Niragi's bedroom was. Chishiya had not followed the group and even as she looked behind her to check if he was still making his way down the staircase or not she found no trace of him. Kagami took a deep breath in as her eyes went back to looking ahead of her.

At least Chishiya's plan had worked and he and Kuina could get out of The Beach now. That was enough for Kagami, it had to be. If she thought about it too much she was afraid she was going to cry. She was so close, too close to being free and it wasn't fair. To stay strong she needed to shift her focus and right now her main focus was Usagi. If she could get Usagi out of The Beach and more importantly away from Niragi, it might make up for betraying them. Usagi somewhat reminded Kagami of her late friend, Sato and that was the foundation of Kagami's guilt. As they reached Niragi's bedroom door Saiko stopped in front of it and turned back to face Kagami who raised her eyebrows in question,

"What?" She asked.

Before she could follow up her question Saiko pulled out her handgun and smacked Kagami square in the jaw with the butt of it. The impact hurt much more than Kagami expected it to and she couldn't help but give out a pained groan. The taste of copper had entered her mouth and as she ran her tongue over her bottom lip she found that it had been re-split after it had finally healed from her meeting with Aguni.

"That's for my nose." Saiko growled and Kagami couldn't help but smile back at her as blood ran down her chin.

Kagami had half a mind to shoot Saiko in the face, but it wouldn't be the smartest move to reveal that she was armed quite yet. Especially with the two men who stood behind her with their guns at the ready. Saiko's eyes flicked up towards one of the men that stood behind her and much to Kagami's surprise and shock, the man slammed the butt of his gun against the right side of Kagami's head and this time, Kagami was knocked to the ground. The side of her head stung and throbbed and she could hear a soft ringing in her ears.

"And that's for Niragi." Saiko said, leaning over her.

Kagami's hand moved to the side of her head. It was wet and as she pulled her hand back, Kagami's eyes widened at the sight of the red liquid. If they were planning to beat her to death they were already doing a better job than her father ever did. But then again, her father never used weapons to beat the shit out his kids, just his hands. Still laying on the ground, Kagami watched as Saiko opened the door and walked into Niragi's bedroom,

"We found her. Her and Chishiya even had a romantic goodbye kiss." Saiko sneered to Niragi.

Kagami tried to get to her feet but all she could manage to do was push herself onto her knees before one of the men behind her grabbed her by her wrist and began to drag her into the room. The man didn't even bother to pull Kagami to her feet and simply dragged her across the ground which probably worked in Kagami's favor considering her head was spinning. Kagami's eyes were glued onto the familiar ceiling on the room she had spent many nights in before the man let go of her hand and the back of her head slammed against the floor. That didn't help the headache that had started to come on at all.  She could hear the sound of Niragi's voice yelling at Saiko and the other men but for some reason she couldn't make out what he was saying over the ringing in her ears. As the ringing was starting to die down, Kagami could have sworn she heard someone yelling out her name over and over again and Niragi's words started to make sense.

"I didn't ask you to hurt her. I asked you to bring her here. Are you fucking dumb?" Niragi was yelling.

"I did it for you!" Saiko exclaimed and the tone she was using made it sound like she was about to cry. "She doesn't even want you anymore. She's clearly been hooking up with Chishiya."
