preface - this has the same speaker as ...Be Here. in this poem, the speaker is still young

I'd drag the stars down from the sky,
So I could make a wish on those shooting stars.
I would very earnestly and truthfully pray,
To restore the life that was ours.

It was too soon for you to leave,
Too soon for me to take it.
How will I bear the weight through the years,
If I know that it is definitely going to hit?

I'd very much like you to come back,
From wherever you are.
I don't believe that you are gone,
My life, truly did you scar.

I don't know if I'll be able to get far in life,
Without your teachings and your advice.
Without you, my life feels like nothing,
It feels like I'm skating on thin ice.

So do come back, by whatever means you see fit,
And come back soon.
Because, I'll be waiting for you,
And I'll even clean your room.
