I was bitter winter, but you came along,
Now I'm spring, with happiness in my heart.
I was gloomy, before you came to me,
And made all my sadness depart.

I was rain, before you came along,
Now you make me shine brighter than the sun.
I thought I was too lonely to live,
But now, I might just have found the one.

I was melancholy, and feeling the blues,
But your blazing fire made my heart warm.
I was so sorrowful, so lonely and alone,
But you made me transform.

It was you I was waiting for,
The best thing I didn't know I needed.
You are the only one whom I consider my best friend,
And in making me happy, you succeeded.

I have no idea why you wanted me,
But I'm so grateful that you did.
As without you and your awesome self,
In sadness I'd always sit.
