If I was fire, then you'd be the sun,
If I was water, then you'd be the sea.
If I was glue, then fortunately,
I'd hold you very close to me.

If I was good, then you'd be the best,
If I was a picture, then you'd be the frame.
You keep surrounding me always,
And I will never forget your name.

If I was life, then you'd be the afterlife,
If I was death, then you'd be rebirth,
If I was gloom, then you'd be hope,
If I was sadness, then you'd be mirth.

If I was a lie, then you'd be the truth.
Holding me up through the highs and the lows.
If you are thankful, then I'm utterly grateful,
I always hope that our friendship grows.
