Dear life, I have a few confessions to make.
However much I despise you,
However much I want to escape,
I think I have some apologies for you.
Dear life, I'm sorry for everything.
I'm sorry for hating on you,
I'm sorry for making jokes and insults,
Because ultimately, you help me power through.
Dear life, even when everyone leaves,
I know that you will stay.
I know that you will be my hope,
Through the darkest of days.
Dear life, I regret not appreciating you earlier,
Because you are my permanent ally.
Throughout my existence, you have always helped me,
Not once have you stood by.
Dear life, I hope you know,
That I appreciate and respect you.
There's a long way forward for us,
So I'll place my trust in you.
