39. Risk.

We were so high on ourselves,
That we risked it all.
That was a huge blunder,
As we know now, after our fall.

We aimed for a life together.
And then we fell apart like a house of cards.
We had balanced it all, so carefully,
Now we will forever be scarred.

What did we do to deserve this?
Did we achieve a level of excessive happiness?
Is that even possible, or am I bringing up hypothesis,
Do I truly deserve loneliness?

I miss you. And I'll always do.
Even if we might not see each other ever again,
I'll still remember you and think of you as my best,
You were the person that kept me sane.
