Chapter-4(Adapting to the new life part-1)

What should I do now???. My brain went blank with the shock which I have recieved. 'How can I live peacefully knowing that I would die in the end???. Wait!!!, What happened to my original body am I dead is this my ghost 👻. I am very afraid of ghosts and here I became one. Okay I am officially freaking out uttering some foolish stuff because I am panicking. Ofcourse how can I not panick when I became a character in a freaking novel. Even if I am transmigrated why does it have to be the sub-villan??? Why not the herione ??. In my last life I died before I could love someone and died as a virgin. In this life I will die because l loved someone and I am going to die as a virgin. God! Why do I have such a chaotic love life???
Why can't I have a smooth love life?? I didn't even pay respects or 2 minute silence to my dead love life in my last life. May be I should do that now.'as I was seriously thinking about my love life.
I heard someone speaking.

"My lady, when did you wake up??? Do you need anything??? You should have called me??? Why are you standing in front of the mirror young miss. You should rest" saying this she came to me took my hand in her's and started taking me towards the bed. She helped me rest on the bed. She served me water. I drank and the she went out to inform my father and my mother about me.

Who is she???? Wait!!!, I have seen her somewhere. She is the one who sent the doctor out that day. Looks like she is the nanny of Lina her name is Maria. She is one of the loyal workers of the Duchy.

Then the parents of Lina or my new parents came in. My mom and dad sat on either side of the bed. Taking my face in her hands she looked at me lovingly.
"Her complextion improved dear. She looks better than yesterday. What do you say dear??" She asked my dad. Her voice is so sweet and I could sense her care towards me.

"Yes, only a little bit better. Look at her she looks so small and fragile. Her hands are so small and thin. I even wonder how she manages to walk with those cute feet of her's". Said my dad.

'Awwwww, how sweet looks like my parents love me so much. This is awkward for me as it is my first time someone showing so much love for me . I loved this feeling of being cared'

"We have to take good care of her" said my mom. My dad nodded in agreement.

' It is awkward call her mom well let's try. It won't be that hard right.'

"Mom, Dad I am fine. Please don't worry". I said.

My mom and dad looked at me, my mom almost had tears in her eyes. My dad looks relieved.

"Dear do you remember me???" My mom asked.

I nodded and said " I only remember a few things mom."

"It's ok even if you don't remember anything don't stress yourself. Take a bath, eat something and get some sleep.
Ok baby" she said.

"Ok mom"

With she called Maria to help me with my bath. She told me have food in my room and no need to go down to have breakfast. Saying this she kissed my forehead. Then my father kissed my forehead and both left saying that they will visit again.

Then took me towards the bathroom to take a bath. It was embarrassing for me having someone to help me with bath.
I must say she did a great job she massaged me with amount of strength that is needed. It was a relaxing bath.

Then she dried me and my hair and helped me with clothes. These clothes are very complicated and cannot be worn without someone's help.
The gown which I wore is biscuit colour but it suit me quite well.

Then I had my meal this is one of the best meal's I had in both my life's. I must say the chef is quite skilled. Then I slept for sometime. Then I had my lunch and I couldn't sleep as I slept in the morning. I asked Maria to take me out. She said my dad didn't allow me to go out as he wanted me to rest.

Then I asked her to atleast show me the mansion as I couldn't remember the directions properly. I made a puppy face and she agreed. Thus, I had the tour of the Duke Mansion which is only inferior to the imperial palace. It is so big that my legs started paining and Maria carried me mostly saying I would be tired walking.

Then I came to my room without visiting garden because of my father's order. In the evening my came I told them that I want to have dinner with them. My father carried me out of my room to the dining table. He made me sit on his lap and my mom fed my dinner. Then my dad carried me back to my room. My mom and my dad said good night after kissing my forehead and dad patted me sleep. I loved this feeling of being loved.
I am very and I want this happiness forever. If being Lina can bring me such happiness,love and affection then I don't mind being Lina. I will do everything in my power to secure this happiness.

"Have sweet dreams sweetheart" is the last thing I heard before slipping into deep sleep while feeling secured.
