Chapter-16(The unexpected discovery)

I know it's only been six months since my entry here as Lina but still I have really grown attached to Alisha. It's been a week since her death my mom still couldn't come out of the loss even though my dad is affected by Alisha's death but never shows it on his face.I have to do something to come out of this sadness. I was in my room thinking of a way to distract myself then something caught my eye it is the golden feather which I have found in Alisha's garden.

After my encounter with Alexander I forgot about this feather. I just observed it carefully it looks just like the one from my past life. Is it related to my rebirth???
I don't know what to with this and why I kept it with me. I will try find about it but for I will use this a bookmark as it looks preety. I went to my bookshelf in search of a book. The only books in my bookshelf are fairytales what can I expect from a 5 year old child's bookshelf. I took out the story of the sleeping Beauty was turning the pages to find a suitable page to keep it.

Third person POV

While Lina was turning the pages she suddenly hissed as she got a paper cut as the edges of the book were sharp. A few drops of blood rushed out of the wound. Then a drop of blood fell on the feather as she kept it in the book closing it while Lina stood up in search of a first-aid box. The feather absorbed the blood and a golden light emitted from it for a second and then returned to its original state as it is before absorbing the blood. Lina while searching for the first-aid box didn't notice the changes happening around her. Lina was worried that if Maria or father came to know about this wound they will make a big deal out of  it. After Lina's last accident her family has become very overprotective of her as that incident shook them to core. Lina found the first-aid box and then she went into washroom to wash the wound after coming out she examined the wound on her finger then she touched it. The wound on her hand suddenly disappeared this startled Lina.

Lina was so shocked that she couldn't believe what just happened so examined her hand again it is smooth and scar free without any signs of the paper cut. Lina was utterly confused if not for the first-aid box in her hand she would never believe that she just got hurt in the first place. Lina had a hunch in her heart so she turned the pages like she did before and hurt herself again. Then she touched the wound with her other hand then she saw a faint golden light emitting from her palm and then her finger healed on its own. Then after calming herself down she then came to a conclusion that Lina also has some supernatural powers just like her father.

Lina's POV

She clearly remembered that Lina didn't posses any such powers in the story. The author never mentioned this so it was very confusing for her. The origin of her father and how her father got such powers was never mentioned so her father's birth was mysterious. Her father has the power of light that is considered one of the most powerful power after the dreagon power that Alexander consists. Light power also contains healing magic that can heal wounds. I even don't know why my father gives such importance to Harold (Alexander's grandfather). Has my entry here has changed the plot line??? Otherwise how come I suddenly evoke these powers. I am sure that I have acquired these powers just now because I have some of Lina's memories . What did I actually do to evoke these powers??? Why the hell do I always questions without answers. What should I do now??? If Lina has such powers why didn't she possess them in the story.

As I was lost in thoughts Maria came to my room " Little Miss master is calling you to have breakfast" said Maria.

I just absent-mindedly nodded my head and followed her downstairs. In the dining hall there is an unexpected guest.
I entered the hall and my dad immediately took me in his arms and made me sit on his lap. My mom was sitting beside my dad and the unexpected guest - Alexander was sitting beside her.
