Chapter -10(The second meeting with the Crown prince)

It's been a month after that day. Aunt Alisha is very happy as her whole family visited her the next day . They are taking care of her very well. I am feeling very happy as the days are peaceful without any problems. Then Maria came into the with a piece of information which caused a disaster in my peaceful life.

"Young miss a messenger from imperial palace came and informed that the crown prince is coming here to train under your father as a disciple. "

'This news came as a shock to me.
Great, just great, perks of having an outstanding father. Note the sarcasm. A great way to disturb my peace. '

" Okay" I told her. She left to take care of the arrangements.

'How to avoid him ???.
We have never met since that day in the garden. I have a hunch that he is also avoiding me but suddenly out of nowhere he is here for training. Something is fishy. '

Making up my mind I went downstairs. Everyone are busy with the preparations. I spotted my mother discussing something with our chief Linda and Maria as she is the head maid.
Our butler Mason Brown just came came out of the study with my dad. Mason is one of the loyal servent. He can give away his life for my father.

My dad saw me and took me in his arms and asked "what is my princess doing??"

"I just came down dad." I said and smiled at Mason who returned it. Then we heard the commotion outside. I know it's him.

Then we all went out to invite him. The carriage was beautiful with the royalty symbol on it then came out the crown prince. He looks really handsome in his training uniform. The heroine is really lucky to have him.

My father put me down and towards him to greet him. Then my mom joined him.
" Greetings to your highness the star of the empire" said my father and mother.

"Greetings to the Duke and Duchess of Wilson. I am here as a student not as the crown prince so please there is no need for the formalities" he said to them.

'He is still expressionless. If I meet the author of this book I really want to ask her why he is so blank-faced. For God sake he is only 8years old and how can a child have that look on his face. He can even scare adults like me. '

His grey eyes looked around like he is searching for something and finally landed on me. His cold eyes sent chills through my spine. I hurriedly looked away.

'whoah!!! Man what's with that look haaaa???. Who are you trying to intimidate, you blank-faced male lead????'

Then he walked towards me with my father and mother stood infront of me.
"Pleased to meet you again Lina" he said

'But I am not very pleased. By the way who gave you the right to call me by my first name???'

"Greetings to the crown prince of the empire " I said with a forced smile.

We moved forward and entered the palace. Then my mom suddenly said something that made me want to bang my head to the wall.
"Princess why don't you show the Duke Mansion to Alexander "

'May be I should write a novel about outstanding dad and uncooperative mom. Here my father's achievements brought Alexander to the mansion and mom is providing extra time with him .Here I am putting my 1000% efforts to stay away from him. Great just great. What am I going to do with them'

"Okay mom" I said with a forced smile. He stood up and walked towards me. I walked with him keeping my distance. We made our way towards the training hall.

In the Duke Mansion

The servants are dispersed and only the Duke and Duchess are left in the hall.

"What was that??"Duke Lucius asked his wife with a frown on his face.

"What??"asked Elena playing dumb.

"Don't play dumb she is only 5 and you are playing matchmaker for her"

"I am just helping them to be friends" she said

" Do you think I don't know what you are thinking. I will not let my princess marry anyone and especially not to that cold faced kid. He is so expressionless. I don't want her anywhere near him. He will scare her."

"Look who is talking about a cold and expressionless face. Have you ever seen your face to talk about him???my stone faced husband" She asked

The Duke was speechless. Of course he is a stone faced but he won't allow any kid near her he will not marry her. She will always be his baby princess.

The Duke smirked at his wife. Elena knew that smirk better than anyone. He slowly bent down to her ear and whispered"okay my dear wife then for anyone to marry my princess he have to defeat me in swordfight. Even after that I will let him marry her only if she loves him"

Elena was shocked hearing this. She knew her husband is angry at Alexander but she didn't expect him to put such a condition. No one can defeat him in swordfighting or magic even the emperor except for Alexander's grandpa.

"Do you want your daughter to ever get married??? How can you put such a condition. Are doing this because you are angry at Alexander for what happened that day he is a 3 year old for God sake."

"Whatever I am not changing my condition. You know about me I won't change my decision. I won't forgive that child."saying this he left.

"He is so childish. Will I ever see my daughter getting married???. God please help me with my daughter's marriage. These are the perks of having a stubborn husband."
