Chapter-7( My failed mission)

Okay first I have to answer him. I gathered my courage and looked up at him though he is only 8 years old he is very tall.

" N..n ..no". great now I am shuttering.

" You don't like flowers???."

" No, it's not that I don't like them. I love them so I don't want to pluck them" I said

"Why??"

"If you like a rose you will pluck it which leads to seperation and early death of the rose but if you love a rose you will water the plant and prey for its longevity. Since I love them I don't want to cause any harm or damage to them. I don't have any idea of plucking them, I just want to admire them" I said.

The conors of his lips twitched into a small smile. Did I see it correctly because when I saw his face is expressionless as usual. I must be my hallucination. How can the man as cold as an iceblock can add smile.

'well I have to escape this person. Does he have face paralysis to have such a look on his fave'

'leave about him Dolly think about yourself for god sake you are a business women. Use that brain of yours. Yes,I have to use it. Hello my dear brain where are you. Looks like a signal problem.'

'It would be a shame if anyone knows that a 26 year old is afraid of a 8 year old child.'

" Greetings to your highness the Crown Prince. I apologise for being rude enough to not to greet you and for interrupting your peaceful time."

" If your highness could excuse this subject. I would take my leave."

I turned around to leave.

" So you are the daughter of the Duke Wilson"

'ofcourse can't you see. I am a Xerox copy him. I want to say this' but I ended up saying " yes your highness"

' come on let me leave already '

"Wha...t?? I mean I beg your pardon "

He frowned at my reaction
"I asked your name" he said.

" My name is Lina Wilson, your highness "

" It's a pleasure to meet you lady Lina "

I looked at him his lips curled up slightly. It looks like a smirk this time . I vanished very soon did I see it correctly . God what going in that brain of his. He looks like a big bad wolf.

'Oh God what's wrong with this guy did he take the wrong medicine today why the hell is he talking so much today '

" I would take my leave your highness my mother must be waiting for me.
So please excuse me"

" Alex " he said as I was about to leave.

" ...... " I just loked at him with a confused gaze and blinked my eyes not understanding what he meant.

" You can call me Alex "
' who wants to call you by your name but if you want I can call you as an blank-faced ice block'

" I dare not your majesty "

" You forgot to greet me and even interrupted my personal time as a punishment you have to call me by name Alex. If you didn't like your can change it."

'what kind of a stupid punishment is this. Okay he really took the wrong medicine today and needs treatment '

I just nodded my head and started making my way to the lounge to my mother. Only she can save me.

'my sweet mom where are you your world's best daughter is coming for you'

As I was walking the ice block' started walking beside me. I stopped in my tracks and looked at him confused.

" Even I am going to meet my mother ". He said.

I just nodded again and started walking.
Finally when I saw my mom I towards as if I am running from a big wolf and his behind her. She patted my head . It calmed me a lot.

"Lina careful dear don't run like that you might get hurt"

I just said " sorry for worrying  you mother"

" Greetings to mother and the Duchess"said the ice block'.

" Greetings to you crown prince" said my mother.

The empress looked at him and me. As if sensing the question in her gaze he explained.
" I encountered Lina in the garden after my training. We came here together. "

Then my father and the emperor came in. The empress was looking the emperor with a sad gaze. She loves him so much. That scum didn't even throw a glance at her.

My father came towards me took me in his arms while my mother greeted that scumbag emperor.

Then leaning towards my father's ears I whispered slowly in a small voice that I am tired and want to go back home.

" Then I will take my leave your highness" he said and even wait for the emperor's reply and took my mom's hand and started to leave.

I almost laughed at the look on the scumbag emperor's face.

This is how I escaped the imperial palace alive even after failing the mission.

It's really exhausting that it drained all my energy . I slept in my father's arms feeling safe. Then he woke me up at dinner time when I woke up only to see that I am in my room. My father must have carried me here not to disturb my sleep. I felt warm in my heart. Then had dinner with them and we went for a walk in the garden. Then went to sleep keeping the crown prince issue aside.
