One of the very few days that Pandora was alone without Bill, she found herself sitting outside near the Black Lake with Enzo. Enzo was sitting near Pandora, as he picked flowers and played with the little blooms nearby. Enzo seemed to love flowers, mostly because Pandora could tell him almost every flower that he picked.
Pandora sat and read outloud, as Enzo carefully picked flowers. Pandora's book was covered with flowers and flower petals between each page. She didn't mind though, since Enzo was the one putting them in her book. If it was anyone else, she probably would've yelled at them.
As she was reading, she heard the crunching of leaves and grass as people walked over. Pandora closed her book and looked up, only to see the Slytherins that had bulled her quite often. She didn't know what to do, but she knew she had to protect Enzo. He was just a baby, and she would hurt anyone that ever tried to lay a finger on the little boy.
"Finally, the blood traitor is alone, without anyone around to help her," The tallest Slytherin sneered,"and she has a little blood traitor with her." He added, as he looked down at Enzo.
Pandora quickly grabbed Enzo and held him to her chest. The Slytherins sneered at her, which frightened Enzo.
"Not going to say anything, blood traitor?" A different Slytherin questioned, as he stepped closer.
"Get away from us." Pandora replied, pushing herself and Enzo backwards a bit.
The four Slytherins lifted their wands and pointed them at the girl and the baby. Pandora didn't know what to do in that moment, but she knew she couldn't let anything happen to Enzo. Quickly, the girl stood up with Enzo in one arm, as she pointed her wand at the Slytherins with the other.
"Oh, the blood traitor has some nerve now." One sneered, and Pandora glared.
"Back off!" She exclaimed, hoping to sound stronger than she felt.
Pandora was quick enough to yell "Protego" to save herself and Enzo from the Slytherins. Before they could cause any damage to the two, Casen ran over with his wand raised. He quickly hexed them one by one, before he warned them to back off before he ruined their lives. Once the Slytherins were gone, Casen turned to Pandora and Enzo.
"Are you two okay?" Casen asked, as he checked them over for wounds.
"We're fine. You came just in time." Pandora replied, and Casen sighed in relief.
"C'mon, let's get you two back to the Common Room. Bill wouldn't hate me if I left you out here after what happened." Casen commented, wrapping his arm around them to walk them inside.
Bill had been in Ancient Runes class, which was why he hadn't been with Pandora and Enzo. He had to take the class to become a curse breaker. The test for Ancient Runes would be a month before the students other tests, so Bill had to really focus on his Ancient Runes assignments and studying. Pandora didn't want to bother him, so she often took Enzo to the Common Room or her dorm to give Bill time to study or work on his assignments without any interruptions.
By the time Casen arrived back at the Common Room with Pandora and Enzo, Bill had rounded the corner and caught up with them. He was surprised to see them, since he believed they were going to be busy doing something when he got back from class. He was happy to see them though, so he didn't question what they could've been doing, or what they were just coming back from.
"Do you have homework?" Pandora asked, as they sat down in the almost empty Common Room.
"No, but I'll have to study tonight. I have one month to study everything before the big test. I think my professor will be giving one more writing assignment before the big test though." Bill answered, as he placed his foot on the table with a sigh of relief.
"Do you need me to start testing you, like we use to when we were younger?" Casen asked Bill, causing the boy to shrug.
"It could help," Bill replied,"Might actually help me remember some of the information I've been having trouble remembering." He added, and Casen nodded.
"I'll take Enzo to my dorm while you two study tonight. It'll probably be a daily thing, but Enzo and I are more than happy to sit in my dorm together for a while." Pandora commented, making Bill smile.
"Thank you," Bill murmured,"at least, it's only a month before I'm done studying so much, and can spend more time with you and Enzo." He said, and Pandora smiled.
"I believe you still have to study for other classes, not just Ancient Runes." Casen commented, causing Bill to groan.
"My brain is already full, I don't know how much more school I can take this year." Bill retorted, making Pandora and Casen laugh.
"You'll have to learn more when you train to be a curse breaker." Pandora said, and Bill shrugged.
"At least it'll be something I want to study." He replied, causing her to roll her eyes playfully.
"Studying is studying, Bill." Casen murmured, but Bill simply shook his head with a smirk.
Bill liked learning, at least a little bit, otherwise he wouldn't have chosen to be a curse breaker. Pandora knew he just wasn't always a fan of the professors at Hogwarts, since they sometimes expected a bit too much out of their students close to test time. Pandora understood why, but she could agree with the other students when they said it was too much.
Soon, they wouldn't be in school anymore. Soon, they would all be out in the real world, getting jobs, working, and living their own lives. They would all remember their Hogwarts days, and at times they would wish they were back to being that young, so those years weren't meant to be wasted. Hogwarts was a beautiful place, and a person was lucky to have the privilege to learn inside of its walls...
