The first Hogsmeade trip came sooner than expected. Pandora wasn't surprised of course, since she had spent most of her days studying, doing homework, or helping others with their homework. Percy and Oliver still came to Pandora often when they wanted help, even if she didn't know if they really needed it or not. They were quite smart--Percy seemingly a bit more than Oliver--but she would help them if they wanted her too.
Bill and Casen swore she was Percy and Oliver's best friend at this point, even if they were way younger than her. When the day came for the Hogsmeade trip, Pandora tried to find an outfit that wouldn't stand out as much as some of her other outfits. Often times she would wear whatever she wanted during school, as long as she had her school robes on. Once she was dressed, she walked down to the common room and was met by Bill, Enzo, and Casen.
"Are you ready to go?" Bill asked, when he seen Pandora walk into the common room.
"I didn't know I was going with you, Casen, and Enzo." She commented, causing the boys to laugh.
"Of course you are. That's how Hogsmeade works. You go with friends, and here we are waiting for you." Casen replied, and the girl smiled shyly.
Bill, Casen, Enzo, and Pandora soon left the common room to fetch a carriage. As soon as they were in the carriage, Enzo reached for Pandora. She smiled at the little boy and took him from Bill's arms.
"We can go to the Leaky Cauldron first for butterbeers, then we'll head to Honeydukes." Bill said, and Pandora nodded quietly.
Once they had arrived in Hogsmeade, Casen stepped out of the carriage first, before helping Pandora out, since she had Enzo in her hands. Bill climbed off after her, then they walked into the village to go to different shops and such.
"Are you fine with carrying him?" Bill asked, turning to the girl,"Casen or I can take him." He commented, but Pandora shook her head.
"You're fine. I've got him." She replied, and he nodded.
Pandora walked between the two boys, as they lead her to the Leaky Cauldron. Bill brought the girl and his son to a table, as Casen went and ordered three butterbeers and a small cup of milk for Enzo. Bill had brought a small bag that carried nappies, bottles, and clothes in case Enzo had an accident.
"Madam Rosmerta will have our drinks ready in a minute." Casen said, as he walked over and sat down at the table with his friends.
Unbeknownst to the three friends, other Hogwarts students were watching them. They were surprised that Pandora had befriended anyone, since she was a loner, a Black, and a blood traitor according to all Slytherins. They also wondered why Bill had become her friend, and why she was holding Bill's son. They wondered who the mother of Bill's son was, but since they didn't know, they began to consider that maybe Pandora was, or maybe Pandora was going to be his next pregnant girlfriend.
Madam Rosmerta came with their drinks soon enough, glaring at the students she heard whispering about the four people she was walking over to. She placed the drinks down on the table and watched as Bill poured the milk into his son's bottle.
"Is Enzo even allowed sweets?" Casen asked, causing Bill to shake his head.
"He's not old enough for sweets, Casen." Bill replied, chuckling at his friend.
"Once he's old enough to eat soft foods, he should be able to eat biscuits." Pandora commented, causing Bill to look over at her.
"How do you know that?" He asked, making her shrug.
"When you read in your free time, you pick up on a thing or two. Dora thought I was boring, but honestly, I found it rather entertaining to read over most of my free time, especially during the holidays." She replied, smiling at Enzo as he drank from his bottle.
When they had finished their butterbeer, Bill lead the way to Honeydukes. Pandora had decided she'd buy the sweets at Honeydukes, but only if the guys would let her. As soon as they walked inside, Bill offered to help her grab the sweets she wanted, since she was carrying his son. Bill grabbed her and himself baskets to hold the sweets, since he was sure she'd want more than just a couple of things.
"I'm going to pay for your sweets, as well as Casen's, while we're here." Pandora said, causing Bill to frown.
"No--" He began, before Pandora cut him off.
"Just let me, Bill. I have quite a bit of money, so it's not like I'm going to financially hurt myself if I spend a bit on sweets." She joked, making him agree begrudgingly.
"You know, most friends don't talk about how financially inclined they are compared to their poor friends." Bill replied jokingly, but Pandora didn't realize it was a joke.
"Oh, I-I didn't mean for it to sound like that. I'm sorry, really, I--" She rambled, but Bill quickly cut her off.
"I was joking, Pandora, it's fine. Besides, if you're a friend who likes to spoil her friends with gifts, such as sweets, I'm not going to complain." Bill said, and Pandora laughed lightly.
Pandora was happy that she hadn't upset Bill, since she didn't want to ruin her friendship, if she even truly believed it was a friendship yet. She was still having doubts, no matter how much Casen and Bill tried to prove that they were her friends.
Anyhow, Pandora, Bill, and Casen grabbed quite a bit of sweets, which costed Pandora two galleons, but they knew it was worth it. Bill and Casen weren't happy that she had spent so much on them, but they were thankful nonetheless. They just wanted to show her that she didn't have to spend money to be their friend. She was allowed to buy them things if she wanted, but she wasn't obligated, and they wanted to make sure that she knew it...
