Chapter 20: Lies

When I woke up, I immediately look for my phone and when I found it I scrolled through my messages. Wala pa rin akong reply na nakuha galing kay Thunder. Maybe he's busy?

I tried to call his number but it's not ringing. I sighed; defeated. Memories last night chew me. I am pregnant with Thunder's child. We made love at nagbunga iyon. The sleepiness, dizziness, and sudden cravings; it explains why.

A huge smile painted my face. Nagbunga ang pagmamahalan namin and I am so excited to meet our little one. My smile suddenly faded when negative thoughts invade my mind.

I know that. They always look good together. A happy couple. I looked down at my stomach. No, Thunder loves me. I can feel that.

Nang makarating ako sa floor ni Thunder ay agad akong hinarang ng secretary niya. Kumunot ang aking noo habang nakatingin sa kaniya. What? Why is she stopping me?

"Uhm excuse me? I need to go inside and talk to Thunder." hindi ito nagsalita at umiling lamang. What's her problem?

"I said I need to go inside so please? Can you step aside?" tumaas ang kilay niya.

"Bobo ka ba, miss? Kung hindi mo alam nasa loob ang girlfriend ni Sir Thunder. Kaya umalis ka nalang, kung may gusto kang sabihin sa kaniya sabihin mo nalang sa'kin. I can rely your message to him." agad na uminit ang ulo ko sa narinig.
