Chapter 19: Nightmare or a Dream Come True

I took my day off for today, I already promised Belle and Jackie na sasama ako sa kanila sa kanila sleepover. To be honest, ngayon lang ulit kami nagkita. Belle is very busy and Jackie too.

"Good thing you joined us!" Belle giggled.

"Of course, why would I miss such fun? Like hello? Kayo na kaya 'to. My only bestfriend!"

"Let's go then?" I was stunned for a moment.

"Omg like oh my glossary! Lalaking-lalaki kana Jackie!" he rolled my eyes on me kaya napatawa ako.

"Sa'n pala tayo?" I innocently asked. Sumama lang ako sa kanila, kung saan sila ay dun rin ako.

"Mag shopping muna tayo! It's been a long time na kaya. Miss ko na kayong kasama magshopping!"

"Hindi ka namin miss." Belle rolled her eyes like she heard the most annoying thing in the world. 

While walking in the mall pansin ko ang mga titig ng mga tao sa amin - or we can just say kay Belle. She's a famous model after all.

"So... how's your first day, Celine?" ngumuso ako dahil sa tanong. I want to say that some of the employees are giving me some hard times but I didn't. Oh c'mon, we're adults already.

"Well they're friendly on me and and I'm really happy with my job." I saw Jackie rolled his eyes.

"Alam mo naman kasi you can always ask for your father's help. I'm sure na agad kang ipro-promote nun and hello? You deserve the position - ikaw kaya ang pinakamatalino sa'ting tatlo. I know you can do it." he says.

"I know. I know but gusto ko talaga paghirapan ang mga bagay eh. Since I was a child nakukuha ko kaagad ang mga bagay na gusto ko, as I turned older, I realized na dapat paghirapan ko rin just like the other people - pinaghihirapan nila ang mga bagay na gusto nila. It won't hurt if I try, right?" nagkibit balikat nalang siya.

This time Belle rolled her eyes. "Oh c'mon? Let's just enjoy, okay? I want to go to the arcade. I really missed the old us eh." she pouted a bit as Jackie chuckled. "Oh well you guys hmm do you wanna join?" she waved her both hands in the air. "Hep! Hep! I don't need your sagot. You guys must join me!" she giggled like a child.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Jackie at natawa sa asta ng kaibigan. This is Belle. Ang gusto niya ay ang dapat masusunod. Habang papunta doon ay nakaramdam ako ng pagkalam ng sikmura.

"Gutom ka na, Celine? Kakakain lang natin ah?" I shaked my head. "No, I'm not. Kumalam lang talaga siya." lie. Of course, it's a lie. Nagtataka nga rin ako sa sarili ko dahil gaya ng sinabi ni Jackie kakakain lang namin so why am I hungry again? Hindi pa nga umaabot ng isang oras.

I didn't mind my hunger and continue to talk with them with some so random topics. I don't know but I really miss them so much. As in wholesome.

"Dito tayo?" ngumiwi ako dahilan upang matawa ang dalawa. Right. I'm not fun of arcade noon pa man but I always enjoy everytime I'll play. They knew na matatakutin ako sa mga zombie kaya ito ang unang nilaro namin.

"Seriously? Kayo nalang muna. I'll wait lang sa gilid niyo." Jackie rolled his eyes before pulling me and inserted a coin inside. Bago pa man ako makareact ay agad na nagsimula ang laro.

I know na kaya ko namang tumakas but the thing is baka magtampo naman silang dalawa and I don't want that to happen. Ramdam ko ang pag-vibrate ng cellphone ko sa aking bag but I didn't mind it dahil busy ako kaka sigaw.

"Ahh cat! Oh my book! Gosh! Helppp!"

"Ahhh omg this is so fun!"

"Ayusin niyo naman maglaro matatalo tayo eh!"
