Chapter 23: The Rage of Thunder

"Mommy, lolamy is calling." I glanced at my 4 years old son. I smiled at him and patted his head. Kinandong ko siya sa aking hita. He giggled when I carried him.

"Mom." agad namang lumiwanag ang mukha ng ina ko. It's been 5 years simula nang lumipad ako sa Paris, carrying my son, Rage.

Noong isang taon ko lang cinontact sila mommy about my whereabouts. She was crying so much. She begged for my forgiveness na agad ko rin namang binigay. I also did told her my reason.

"Love, I know we are asking too much but pwede bang umuwi ka muna dito sa Pinas? We miss you already." my smile immediately faded.

"Mom, you know that I don't want to go home, right? Uuwi rin naman ako. But not now. Just not now." agad akong napatingin sa anak ko.

"Oh I'm sorry. Miss ko na rin kasi ang apo ko." tumingin siya kay Rage kaya napangiti nalang din ako. "I miss you too, lolamy!" he giggled.

May biglang nagpatunog ng bell kaya inilagay ko muna si Rage sa couch. Agad rin naman akong napangiti nang makita siya.

"Papa!" rinig kong sigaw ni Rage sa likod. Agad akong napangiti. Naramdaman ko ang pagdaan niya. Kagaya ng kaniyang nagawian ay agad itong tumakbo para magpakarga. "I miss you, Papa!" Rage giggled na siyang nagpatawa sa aming dalawa.

"Guess what, mate? I bought us some food and I know you will love it." he raised his other hand and showed him the paper bags.

"What is that, papa?" he asked curiously. Agad akong natawa dahil tila malalim ang iniisip nito. "Give papa a kiss first and I will tell you." Rage didn't think twice at agad na hinalikan si Xander.

"That's so sweet, mate. This is your favorite adobo, I cooked it myself. And I also bought you some sweet. How's that?" Rage applause with so much joy.

"I love you, papa!" he said rushing to the kitchen. "I love you too, mate." he shouted back para lang marinig siya ni Rage.

"How are you, Amora?" umupo kaming dalawa sa couch. Narinig ko ang pagkwe-kwento ni Rage kay mommy tungkol sa dinala ni Xander.

"I'm good now, Xander. Thanks to you." I smiled genuinely. "It's nothing, Amora."

"Mommy, lolamy has ended the call na po." naupo siya sa kandungan ni Xander. "Mommy?" he called.

"May problema ba, anak?" he shaked his head. "Are you not busy po? And how 'bout you papa? Are you not busy po this coming Monday? It's family day po kasi." I smiled at him. "What do you mean busy, baby? I am always not busy if my baby needs me." I pinched his nose and he giggles.

"I will clear my schedule for our big boy." Xander gave him a thumbs-up. "Thank you mommy and papa." he paused for a bit. "Is mama Summer and mamita Lucianne busy po? They're part of the family we should let them join us." agad naman akong napangiti sa anak ko.

Kinikilala niyang pamilya ang hindi namin kaano-ano.

"Yes, baby. I'll inform mamita Lucianne, okay? And of course Papa will inform Summer, okay?" he nodded twice before holding his stomach. "I'm hungry na po." tumawa si Xander sa kaniya at agad siyang binuhat.

"I'll feed him up first. Kumain ka na rin if nagugutom ka na." I just shaked my head to dismissed him.

I meet Xander 4 years ago. He was like an angel im disguise.

Nahihirapang binubuhat ko ang mga grocery na pinabili sa'kin ni madame Lucianne. Siya ang amo ko sa trabaho na mabait. I've been working for her for almost 3 months na. She's so good.
