THE FORGOTTEN MEMORIES [Jay Fanfic]

CHAPTER 6

"The first time I saw you, I knew it to myself na magugustuhan kita. Hindi ka naman kasi mahirap mahalin. You're too kind, you're smart, you're beautiful. Kaya I'm thankful to hee kasi nakilala ka niya and pinakilala ka niya samin" He said. Hindi ko alam kung pano magrereact, Nangyayare ba talaga to? Baka nananaginip lang ako.

I secretly pinched my hands and it hurts, so totoo lahat to. He handed me the flowers and held my hand.

"Y/n....I like you" Ang lamig ng kamay niya, I can feel him shaking as well. "I took this chance to confess and to let you know na I wanted to date you. This time hindi na friendly gala like what we always do, I wanted to date you for real" He said, ang daming naghihiyawan sa kilig, even my teachers are smacking each other.

I looked at our friends and naghihiyawan sila, Si niki at sunoo nagtutulakan pa. Binalik ko ang tingin ko kay Jay and gave him a wide smile.

"I like you too" I said that only the two of us could hear it. A smile formed from his eyes, You can really tell from his eyes na he was so happy.

He asked me to dance with him, tinuloy na ulit ang sayawan nang matapos na ang pakulo ni Jay. I never expected him to confess sa harap ng maraming tao.

Jay was my last dance that night. What shocked me more was I won the star of the night along with Jay. We were both titled as the king and queen ngayong school year.

Everything happened that night was unexpected and it was the most memorable night I won't ever forget.

Hee's Pov

I started walking away seeing her dance with him. Maybe it's time for me to forget my feeling for her, Its time to give her up.

Because she will never be mine, I already accepted it.

I just hope she would be happy with him, If she's happy then I'm going to be okay. Makakalimutan ko rin tong nararamdaman ko, maybe not now but I know someday magiging alaala nalang ang feelings ko para sa kanya.

I put my hands inside my pocket habang naglalakad papalayo.

Y/n's Pov

A month has passed, wala naman pagbabago. Mas nagiging busy lang sa school works but that didn't stop Jay for showing his efforts sa panliligaw niya.

Nabalitaan ko rin na nagkakamabutihan si Hee at Jillian, I'm really happy for hee tho. Wala naman nagbago sa friendship namin kahit na pareho na kaming may lovelife. Hindi na nga lang kami masyado lumalabas and di na rin siya masyado bumibisita sa apartment ko but I guess Jillian was the reason.

Si Jay naman, araw araw niya pinaparamdam sakin kung gaano niya ako kagusto. He's literally spoiling me, halos araw araw kami nagdedate. Kung saan saan niya ako dinadala, Lagi niya akong binibigyan ng flowers. He even introduced me to his parents.

"I knew it!" His mom said pagkasabi ni Jay na nililigawan niya na ako. "Sabi ko na bagay kayo e, I was never wrong" She said habang kumakain kami ng dinner sa house nila.

"Welcome to the family iha" His dad said and smiled at me. I was overwhelmed by how his family accepted me. Namiss ko tuloy parents ko.

Nandito kami ngayon sa room ni Jay, Iniikot ko yung buong kwarto niya habang tinitingnan yung mga baby pictures niya. May mga pictures din dito kasama yung anim, meron din silang picture ni hee nang dalawa lang sila.

"Matagal na pala kayo magkaibigan ni hee?" I said looking at their old photo together, bata pa sila dito.

"Yea, I knew hee first. Elementary palang mag bestfriend na kami" He said, umupo ako sa tabi niya sa sofa and agad naman siyang lumapit sakin at sumandal sa balikat ko.
