THE FORGOTTEN MEMORIES [Jay Fanfic]

CHAPTER 11

"Happy birthday y/n!!" They all said holding a cake. I couldn't help but to smile, naalala pa nila yung birthday ko. 4 months nang coma si Jay, We still don't know kung kelan siya magigising.

My birthday is finally happening today but I'll celebrate it without him. Nilapit ni Niki yung cake sakin para mahipan ko.

"Make a wish first!" Jake said, I closed my eyes. There is only one wish I want to be granted.

I wish for him to wake up

I opened my eyes and blew the candle, nagpalakpakan naman sila. Ang sasaya nila while me, I can't be happy. Because there is something missing, someone's missing.

"Happy birthday beb! Buksan mo gift ko sayo" Sunoo said handing me a box. I took it from him at binuksan yun, I took it out and it was full of chocolates. Mostly my favorites.

"Thank you Sun!" I said feeling so happy.

"My turn!" Niki said and gave me a small paper bag. I opened it at sa loob may maliit pang box. I already had a hint kung ano to and when I opened it. It was a silver bracelet.

"Wow!" I said admiring the beautiful bracelet.

"Sabi na magugustuhan mo e, Matchy tayo niya" He said showing me his. "Akin na suot ko sayo" He said at kinabit niya sa kamay ko yung bracelet.

"Thank you so much niki!" I said smiling. Jake handed me a paper bag na may laman na luxury bag. Si Sunghoon naman niregaluhan ako ng dresses and Jungwon's gift is a pair of expensive earrings.

Sobrang saya ko sa mga natanggap ko mula sa kanila, I never expected them to be this effort giving me gifts. Lumapit si hee sakin at inabot ang maliit na red box, Sa packaging palang ng box halata na agad na mamahalin. I opened it and saw a beautiful shining silver necklace.

May locket siya and when I open the locket I saw a photo of me and Jay habang sa other side Ako at silang pito nung graduation namin. I felt my tears building up when I saw my sweet photo with Jay.

"Hey, don't cry" Hee said kneeling down wiping my tears. Nasa hospital pala kami, I wanted to celebrate here so I can still feel Jay's presence.

"Thank you so much hee!" I said crying and hugged him tight. This man really know how to make me cry.

"Happy Birthday sweetheart!" Jay's mom said and kissed me on the cheeks. She handed me a big paper bag na naglalaman nang Chanel bag.

"Thank you so much tita!" I said hugging her.

"Happy Birthday darling!" Jay's dad said and hugged me, he handed me an envelope that made me really curious kung ano ang laman.

When I opened it, two tickets to maldives. I looked at him shock, he smiled at me and pat my head.

"There's no expiration there, you can go whenever you want. Kapag nagising na si Jay go spend time with each other" I hugged him with teary eyes. They're really so generous, I love this family so much. Pare pareho sila ng ugali.

Nakaupo lang ako sa tabi ni Jay habang yung anim nasa may sofa naglalaro ng board games. I'm just admiring him, I really miss you so much love.

"Hi love! Today is my birthday, You may not be able to celebrate with me right now but I know in your dreams you're having fun with me" I said caressing his cheeks. I held his hand and kissed it lightly. "I really miss you so much"

I look up trying to stop my tears, ayoko na umiyak kahit sa ngayon lang. Tumayo nako at pumunta na rin sa sofa para sumali, I smiled hiding the pain I'm feeling right now.

Kahit sa ngayong araw lang I felt happy, our friends never failed to make me happy. It may be the saddest birthday but I'm greatful na nandito sila para pasayahin ako.

Hindi ko na alam ang gagawin ko kung pati sila mawawala, masyado na rin silang napamahal sakin like my own brothers. Sila nalang ang pamilya na meron ako, sila na ang tinuturing kong pamilya.

Today nasa work ako, 5 months na ang nakalipas simula nang maaksidente si Jay. Tinatapos ko lang ang mga papers na namiss kong gawin nung isang araw dahil buong araw akong nagbantay kay Jay. Suddenly I received a call from Jake.

"Hey Jake" bati ko

[Y/n...] Bigla akong nakaramdam nang kakaiba, kinabahan nalang ako bigla.

"Hmm, what is it?" Tanong ko.

[He's awake]

I froze, My heart starts beating fast my hands starts shaking. I couldn't believe it. I ended the call and started to pack my things, nagmadali agad ako. He needs me, I need to be there.

Nagpaalam ako sa boss ko kung pwede ako mag early out, I told him the reason and thankfully he allowed me to. I drove fast to the hospital still shaking and nervous.

Nang makarating ako sa hospital, I started running fast. Wala nakong ibang iniisip ngayon kundi ang makita siya. I saw our friends outside his room looking devastated, I was confused.

They all look at me with pity in their eyes pero hindi ko na yun pinansin because I badly want to see him na. I head inside and saw him sitting on his bed looking outside the window.

Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili ko at kusa nang tumulo ang mga luha ko. I have been longing for him for 5 months and now he's awake.

"Love...." I said and slowly head towards him, He looked at me with a poker face, scanning me from head to toe as if he was trying to recognize me. I hugged him tight but he didn't hug back.

I was so confused and look at him, He was just sitting there like a statue staring at me blankly.

And what he said broke me into pieces.

"Who are you?"
