I woke up the next day and called Lana she knows all about Jace and how we hate each other.
"I'm so mad why would Henry choose him out of all people to look after me, i don't need looking after it nearly nineteen for god sake he's not even here either he was gone when I woke up."
"That's awful, how are you anyway how's it being home?"
"I'm good just still trying to process everything really but it is nice to be home I miss it at collage even tho Jace is here."
"Well I'm glad your feeling better call me anytime love you hun."
It's been all day it's now 8pm and Jace hasn't come back, i do wonder what he does for work he's always been very closed of never revealing anything about his personal life. AlI know is his mom died giving birth to him and he hasn't seen his dad in years because he moved away and retired.
I start making dinner, I have been busy today I went to the store and got stuff for the house and i cleaned that whole house which always makes me feel better .
The door opens and I see Jace walk in he puts his jacket on the back of the couch and comes into the kitchen to get a drink, I can see he has a cut on his lip and some bruising on his cheekbone I get a little worried
"Jace what happened to your face ?"
"Nothing, just business I'm fine" he says coldly
"Oh okay well I'm making dinner if you want some."
He doesn't say anything he just walks off he gies to the bathroom and i follow him
"Are you sure your alright ?"
"Yes I already said I'm fine ."
He gets the stuff out to clean his cuts he looks mad like really mad but I'm not scared of him I have known him for years.
"Let me help you."
At collage in training to be a nurse so I might as well help him and do it properly.
"Fine."
That's all he says, he sits on the counter and i get the stuff to wipe the cut with an antiseptic wipe
"This might sting." I say
He doesn't even flinch he looks directly in my eyes I can't tell what he's feeling his eyes just look cold. I finish cleaning his cut and tidy up.
"Thank you"
"Your welcome I'm gonna go finish dinner"
I rush out of that bathroom feeling weird I can't be starting to like this guy can i ? He's a dick and i hate him.
After I plated up my food I sit down and put a movie on I hear on Jace come downstairs and go to the kitchen, he comes and sits down with me and goes on his phone. I begin to eat then Jace gets up and suddenly leaves I'm confused because it's about 10pm what the hell could he be doing. After a while the movie finishes and my eyes begin to feel heavy before i knew it i fell into a deep slumber .
I start to wake up and I feel like I'm being carried i slowly open my eyes, i realise I'm in his arms I don't what him to know I'm awake to i shut my eyes. He must've come home and found me asleep on the couch then I feel like I'm being placed into something comfy I recognise the smell and I know I'm in my room. Then I hear "goodnight Evie".
I hear him walk out and i wonder what the fuck just happened.
