Can I ask you something?

I wake up to an arm draped over my waist i smile to myself remembering who it is. He starts to move and I see him peel open his eyes.
I kiss him gently on lips. He lets out a happy hum

"Hmm good morning love."

"Good morning, did you sleep okay?"

"Yes i slept very good for the first time in a long time actually lately I have heist been so stressed with work but sleeping next to you i felt calm for the first time in a long time ."

"Aww well I'm glad and have a headache I haven't drunk that much in a long time."

"Well what do you remember "

I laugh
"Ummm only some bits I remember calling you, shouting to Tyler then getting McDonald's then I got home and sobered up abit I remember talking to you about moving to New York and that stuff."

"Well that's good and I will go get you a coffee."

I look at my phone and see I have a text from Lana.

Lana: hey how's your head because I have thrown up three times and feel like my head has been run over by a truck and I'm in a strangers bed I was planning on staying at Ellies but that didn't happen.
Evie: oh babe I'm alright my heads just a bit sore and go on hun love that you got laid you needed it ngl.
Lana: shut up no I didn't but from what I can remember it was good i just want to go home and get into my own bed.
Evie: haha go get home, I'm gonna have some coffee and try and get up.

I put my phone down to see Jace coming in with a coffee for each of us.

I smile at him and he climbs back into bed I have been think a lot about not doing nursing right now but I have no idea what else I wanna do and when I went to work with Jace the other day I loved it the power I had felt amazing so I'm gonna ask him a massive question if i can join the mafia and work with him.

"Okay so listen to me and hear me out before you jump to conclusions ?"

"Okay.."

he looks at me with worry and confusion

"What would you think if I said I wanted to join the mafia and work with you, look i really enjoyed it and i think I was pretty good at it even oliver said so and I can definitely shooting a gun."

"Woah okay um, I would definitely have to think about it at the end of the day it is a dangerous job and things can go wrong I would have to train you a bit,and don't get me wrong you were amazing the other day i just worry for you."

"I understand it's dangerous and things can go wrong but i loved it the adrenaline rush it felt amazing it's something I would really like to do."

"Okay well let me think about it, I'm gonna go shower and then I have to go out so I will see you later."

"Okay see you later."

He walks out of my room and it's now 8 am I woke up really early this morning I'm still so tired I could fall back asleep.

About 10 minutes later i feel my eyes get heavy and I let myself fall back asleep I have no where to be today and I need to rest after last night.

I open my eyes to the sun light seeping through my blinds and i look at the time holy fuck it's 1 o'clock I slept for five hours I guess I really needed it . I head downstairs and get some food i make some lunch and then sit down on the couch i flick on the tv and i watch a documentary it's really interesting it's about serial killers i turn it off it starts to get very gross and makes me want to vomit.

I decided to open my computer and look for apartments I found 5 i liked all I found four in Brooklyn and 1 in manhattan . Brooklyn is where I would most like to live there I know it well and it's close to Jace's work if he agreed Manhattan is nice but it's along way to travel to work.

I email all the agents for each one and I schedule viewings for them in 2 days I'm very excited to move I don't like living in California it just reminds me of my parents.

Its now a lot later and Jace comes home he walks through the door and looks angry and frustrated.

I walk up to him he through his jacket on the couch and kicks his shoes off. I step infront of him and i look up at him then wrap my arms around his neck.

" what's wrong talk to me."

"Just your silly little ex boyfriend being a dick."

"Ugh fuck what has he done now."

"Well he came up to me today while I was out getting coffee before work he saw me from across the street. He walked up to me and tried to start an argument so I tried to walk away and he followed me so I dealt with him."

"Jace what do you mean by "dealt with him" well i look him to work and chucked him in a cell till he calms down he shouldn't have tried to touch you."

"Jace forget about it I have other news and I'm very excited."

I kiss his lips and walk to the kitchen

"I scheduled some apartment viewings and I want you to come with me they are in the next couple of days."

"Okay sounds fun I will go now let's make dinner I'm starving."

I smile at him and open the fridge to see what we have.
