Where's Jace

This morning I woke up bright and early at 6:30 and i as I got up Jace was just leaving so I gave him a smile and said bye. He smiled back (which was surprising to me )
And left .
Lana woke up last night when i came in with chase after he rescued me and they met for the first time he said hello coldly and went to his room so no surprise there.

It was now about 8 am after i got ready I started preparing breakfast for Lana it was supposed to be a brunch but I thought we could have a shopping day. I made choc chip pancakes with syrup, i made bacon, eggs, hash browns and I got some pastries. Lana woke up and came downstairs.

"Smells amazing Evie so hungry"

"Good because i might have made to much food haha"

We sat and ate breakfast then we left to go shopping I was so excited to get some new clothes i hadn't been shopping since I left for collage .Lana seemed a bit distracted since after a phone call she had at breakfast i couldn't quite what was being said on the phone so I didn't ask who it was.

"Are you okay you seem a little bit distracted anything you wanna talk about ."

" well the reason i came a day before spring break is because I broke up with Alex he was cheating on me and i didn't want to be at college even though it was one day I just had to get away and he called me this morning begging for me back ."

"Oh shit how comes you never told me I could've helped you and we could've talked about it."

"I just didn't want to stress you out worrying about me when everything happened with your parents and without your brother."

" Lana your my best friend it wouldn't stress me out I'm here for you ."

"Yeah I know but let's not talk about it anymore plus the mall is on your next left haha."

We arrive at the mall and go to the first shop Lana buys an amazing red dress for graduation, i and get a long tight fitted black silk dress I don't know where I'm going to wear it but it look lush on me. We go get some food so we go to a little diner inside the mall and order food we talked about what happens with Alex was cheating on Lana for months and she found out because he left his phone in her dorm and she found all the messages. When we finished our food we went to one more shop I saw the most amazing lingerie set it was all black and Lacey so I had to get it not like I had anyone to wear it for but I loved it .

It was late afternoon and we went home and watched the sun set we drank cocktails, we laughed about silly stuff from when we first started collage then suddenly I heard the door slam it was Jace he's home earlier than usual he was shouting on the phone, he stormed upstairs and slammed his door i just ignore it because it's not my business and I don't care really.

TWO HOURS LATER —

I make dinner Lana went upstairs to pack and shower as she leaves tomorrow i dance along to music swinging my hips and singing the words and I hear someone clear their throat behind me I jumped and turned around to see Jace with a smirk on his face.

"What the fuck ass hole that scared me ."

"Sorry, just letting you know I'm going out and i won't be back tonight I will be back tomorrow."

"Oh okay well bye I will see you tomorrow ."

He walked out the door with a bag I'm thinking was full of his stuff, i was slightly confused because he lives in New York so he's not going home. I didn't know he lived in New York till about 6 months ago when Henry told me and he's in California right now on 'business' that's why he's living here supposedly looking after me.

Lana comes down
"You alright babe you look abit confused."

"Yeah I'm fine Jace just left and said he won't be back till tomorrow that's all ."

"Oh okay well you need help with dinner?"

"No it's done i made tacos also what time are you leaving tomorrow."

"Ooo my favourite thanks, I'm leaving at about 9am I thought I would go early and get on the road because my mom what's to have a spa day tomorrow."

"Ooo that will be fun for you guys."

"Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing my mom I miss her so much at collage,"

After dinner we watched a movie half way through the film there was a ponding on the door it made Lana and i jump and let out a screech. I got up slowly and went to the door I opened it slowly with Lana behind me.

"WHERE THE FUCK IS HE ."

" where is who and no need to shout in my fucking face asshole ."

I wasn't scared because you can't afford to be scared being a girl living on your own.

"Jace Corbin."

"He's not here now can you please leave you are ruining my movie dick !!"

I went to slam the door in his face but he stopped it with his fist and looked at me with anger in his eyes I walked up to him

"Look you fucking idiot he's not here if he was I would get him now kindly fuck off and don't come back!!!"

His facial expression changed he looked surprised that i stood up to him

"O-okay sorry for interrupting your evening miss ." 

He walked away and sped off in his black car without a number plate which I thought was strange.

I slammed and locked the door what the fuck just happened Lana and i just stared at each other in shock.
