My mafia romance

The favour

Last night Jace told me he's in the mafia i actually thought it was really cool because he has so much money and has people to do everything for him.
This morning I wake up feeling really happy which is strange considering I found out the guy I'm seeing cheated on me yesterday, but when I spoke to Jace I completely forgot about him it's like no one else exists and we are in our own little world.
I head downstairs to see Jace sat on the couch on a phone call i smile at him and he just nods his head he's wearing grey sweatpants and a white T-shirt that hugs his muscles in all the right places.
He notices me staring and clears his through making me fall out of my daydream. I didn't even notice he had finished his phone call.

"I have a massive favour to ask you and I will do anything you need if you agree."

"Okay what is it ?"
I say sounding confused by what he just said he's never asked me to do anything for him before .

"Okay so basically every year we have this like big ball type thing it's a mafia tradition and I want you to go with me as my plus one, will you?"

"Yeah okay I'm not exactly doing anything else and could be fun I guess ."

"Ahh think god thank you Evie."

"One problem I'm going to need a dress a really nice expensive one."
I say smirking at him hinting that he has to buy me one.

"Okay get ready and we will go shopping."

I walk upstairs and get ready about 45 minutes later we are in the car on the way to a shop,Jace said he knew a place and i would like it I'm hoping it's big and fancy.
We arrive at this shop i walk in and I'm speechless the amount of beautiful dresses that are here blow my mind i pic out a few and try them on I see this deep red one it's amazing I hand it to Jace and walk off net saying anything getting ready to choose another to try on.

After about 39 minutes I have narrowed it down to three dresses.

I loved all of the dresses but I ended up choosing the red one it was the most beautiful dress I had ever seen and it hugged my figure perfectly I didn't show Jace when I tried it on because I wanted it to be a surprise.

We went to the checkout and he payed I felt kind of guilty but i didn't at the same time this was his idea and I'm not paying.

"I also need my nails done I can't go without nails it would look awful." I laughed and he just looked at me and rolled his eyes.

"I will pick you up call me when your done ."
"Okay."

I walked into the nail salon and sit down I showed the woman my i so pic and she got straight to work.

I payed the women with the cash Jace gave me and I walked out and called him, a few minutes later a black Lamborghini
Pulled up outside the nail salon I swear every time I see this man he has a new car.

I got him showed him my nails and he just nines and rolled his eyes with a why are you showing me look on his face.

I got home and started to get ready it was 4pm and the ball started at 8pm but it was about a 45 minute drive I went to my room and stared getting ready I had a long shower shaved,exfoliated, washed my hair and body when I got out I painted my toes a simple french tip and began to dry my hair I stared on my makeup i didn't want to go to extreme because my dress is very dramatic.

I finished my makeup and moved onto hair I wasn't sure what I was going to to but I wanted something simple and I wanted it up.
After a while if deciding I thought I would do a low bun so you would be able to see the back of my dress.

I was finally ready last thing to do was put my dress on luckily I could do it on my own and there wasn't a zip on the back it was going down the side so you couldn't really see it I pulled on my dress put on some perfume and did some final touches to my hair like adding hairspray .

I call out to jace
"Hey are you ready to go ?"

"Yeah I'm downstairs waiting."
He calls out and with that I get my bag and walk downstairs.

When all of a sudden I see him.
