It had been a few weeks since Natasha and Chloe had run away. Chloe's heart ached as she missed her girlfriend. They had barely started dating before they had been torn away from each other. It was unbearable not being able to text but it was what they had to do, just incase the government tracked phones. Kate would be safe since she was on house arrest with Clint but it didn't stop Chloe's mind from racing.

She sat on the sofa as Natasha got home.
Chloe smiled and nodded to the bedroom where Natasha's friend had fallen asleep. Nat playfully rolled her eyes and went to wake him up. They quietly sorted some stuff before he left. "Movie night?" Natasha suggested to her daughter. "Movie night." Chloe agreed with a smile.

Natasha noticed a cardboard box next to the door. "What's that?" She questioned, kicking it lightly. "Oh- umm, something from a Budapest safe house apparently. He said someone else moved in." Chloe shrugged nonchalantly. "Budape-sht!" Nat emphasised. "It's spelt Budapest, it's pronounced Budapest." Chloe told her. "Nopee, it's Budape-sht." Nat shook her head. "Yeah whatever you say, mum." Chloe laughed.

Natasha dropped the package off into the car before coming back in to settle for movie night. The power clicked off and both women groaned. "Your turn!" Chloe patted her mum on the shoulder. "Yes, I know." Nat sighed, getting up to run the generator again. A few moments she came back inside, the power still not on. "Gotta go get some more fuel for the piece of junk, I'll be back in a bit." The redhead told her shortly. "Stay safe." Chloe told her.
"Will do!" She called back.

Chloe stared up at the ceiling from the sofa. What was taking her so long? Chloe didn't like to admit it because it may push boundaries but anytime Natasha went out for too long, she'd follow her. She got to anxious and paranoid if her mum was gone anymore than half an hour. Chloe carefully made her way across the road to where she knew Nat would have to be to get fuel. Her nerves increased the closer she got. When she came to the bridge she knew why.

Natasha was fighting with a masked opponent. The car was in flames, ripping of the edge of the bridge. The opponent was armed with a shield. Did the Red Room and Hydra copy every hero? Just as the masked figure threw a punch at Natasha, Chloe shot out a web. She used all her strength to pull the person towards her and knock them to their feet. They were quick to get up. Even with both women fighting, the assassin held their ground well.

One particularly strong punch sent Nat flying off the bridge into the water. "Mum!" Chloe completely forgot about the masked person as she jumped off the bridge after her mother. A knife skimmed her, leaving a long gash down her side. Chloe didn't care for it, she focused on pulling Nat out of the water. "Who was that guy?" Natasha panted. "A pain in the ass." Chloe responded, standing up.

"Let's get you home and patched up, then we have somewhere to be." Nat said, pulling out a cluster of glowing red viles paired with a picture of two young girls; one of which look a lot like Natasha. "Why? Where are we going?" Chloe questioned as Natasha lead the way home. "We're going to Budapest. It's time you meet your auntie." The older woman told her.
"Holy shit! Auntie Yelena that you always talk about?" She gasped as she caught up.
Natasha gave her a hum and a nod.

The two ex-assassins arrived in Budapest. Nat pulled out her gun as they got to the door. "I know you're out there." A voice laced with a Russian accent called from inside. "I know you know I'm out here."Natasha slowly entered the building, followed by Chloe who quickly shut the door behind them. She climbed onto the ceiling as Nat her told her to before they even got into Budapest.

"Then why are you skulking about like it's a minefield?" The Russian accent interrogated. "Cause I don't know if I can trust you." Natasha replied, beginning to search the rooms, hun pointed out. The Russian woman laughed at her words. "Funny I was going to say the same thing."

"So we gonna talk like grown ups?"
Natasha asked her as they both met up in the kitchen, guns pointed straight at each other. "Is that what we are?" The blonde woman challenged. If I ever find my biological family, would I react like this? Chloe questioned herself as the two began to fight. They actually fought pretty violently, Chloe had to force herself not to jump in to help.

As they surrendered to each other, Chloe finally jumped down. "Who's this?" Yelena demanded, looking between Natasha and Chloe. "Chloe, this is your aunt Yelena, Yelena this is your niece, Chloe." Natasha introduced the two. Chloe put out her hand which Yelena slowly shook. "You seem familiar." Yelena spoke.
"Yeah I was in the Red Room and Hydra for a while. Might of seen my face around on a mission or two." Chloe shrugged. Yelena gave her a nod and a short smile.

"So why are you in Budapest?" Natasha asked Yelena. "I came here because I thought you wouldn't." Yelena replied, taking a drink from out the fridge. "But since you're here. What bullet does that?" The blonde pointed to an arrow mark on the wall. Chloe frowned, why did just about everything have to remind her of Kate? "Not bullets. Arrows." Natasha informed her little sister. "Ah, right."

Natasha placed the viles and picture on the table in front of Yelena. "If you didn't think I'd come here, why'd you send me this?" She questioned. "You brought it back here?" Yelena exclaimed, her eyes widening. Yelena walked to the next room, Natasha following. Chloe sighed and followed behind them.

"I'm not here trying to be your friend, but you need to tell me what that is." Natasha spoke. "It's a synthetic gas." Yelena told her casually. "The counter agent to chemical subjugation. The gas immunises the brain's neuropathways form external manipulation."

"Maybe in English next time?" Nat sighed.
"It's an antidote to mind control." Yelena rephrased in Russian. Chloe couldn't help but let out a laugh at her childlessness. Yelena looked over at her with a proud smile. "Real mature." Nat rolled her eyes at the two.

"Why don't you take it to one of your Super Scientist friends?" Yelena asked her older sister. "Oh yeah, we're not really talking right now, so." Nat shrugged.
"Great. Perfect timing." Yelena groaned. "Tell me about it." Chloe agreed.
"Where's an Avenger when you need one?" Yelena spoke half to herself. "I don't want to be here. We're on the run. You could've gotten me and your niece killed." Natasha turned to face her. Yelena looked down, a hint of guilt glinting in her eyes. "We'll, what was I supposed to do? You're the only superhero person- well people I guess- that I know." She defended herself. "That was the whole reason I sent it to you."

"I kept checking the news. Expecting to see Captain America taking down the Red Room." Yelena told them as she left the room. Chloe furrowed her brows in confusion. "What? Taking down the Red Room? What are you talking about?" Natasha followed Yelena.

"It's been gone for years. Dreykov's dead. I killed him." Natasha said, making Yelena chuckle. "You don't actually believe that, do you?" Nat and Chloe's faces dropped at her words. "You really do believe that." Yelena realised. "Dreykov's dead. It took almost destroying the entire city just to get to him." Natasha explained.
"If you're so sure then tell me what happened. Tell me exactly." Yelena challenged. "We rigged bombs," Natasha started. "Who's we?" Her sister interrupted. "Clint Barton." Nat answered. "Killing Dreykov was the final step in my defection to SHIELD."

Yelena listened to the explanation. She nodded and the shrugged. "Simple as that?" Natasha strode past her. "Yeah, sure, simple." She huffed. "That's what I call imploding a five story building." Chloe's eyes widened, she had not been told that part of the story. "And you checked the body? Confirmed the kill?" Yelena pushed. Nat took a shot before turning to her. "There was no body left to check."

Natasha began to walk away, pausing in her steps as Yelena spoke again. "You're forgetting Dreykov's daughter."
"Incoming." Chloe spoke. A second after footsteps were heard above and then the ceiling caved in. Widow assassins dropped into the room. Yelena grabbed the bag and the trio made their escape. They just about dodged the bullets being fired at them as they ran through the building.

They jumped onto the roof, sliding down, closely followed by an assassin. As they dropped down a tower the assassin clung to Natasha, apparently not tight enough as she crashed to the floor. The tower smashed through a window, sending Yelena and Chloe through. Natasha dropped down to help the assassin. "Why does she always have to try be nice?" Chloe asked herself, climbing down the wall to make sure her mum would be okay.

She got to her side just to see the Widow end her own life. "Holy shit." Chloe gasped under her breath. "Do you believe me now?" Yelena questioned, walking over to the two. "How many others?" Natasha asked. "Enough." Yelena answered.
