"Chloe! Quick! Tony's back!" Pietro burst into Chloe's room, a smile and glimmer of happiness in his eyes. "WHAT?" The brunette gasped, jumping out of bed and following Pietro through the compound. Tony was sat at the table, hooked up to tubes and looking exhausted. A blonde woman stood off to the side. Chloe asked who she was and Pietro shrugged.

The young woman searched the rest of the room, her eyes frantic. "Where's Peter?" She questioned. Tony drooped his head and let out a defeated sigh. "Gone. Sorry, kid. I couldn't- I couldn't save him." Tony apologised, his voice was choked with emotion. Chloe nodded slowly, fighting back tears. "It's not your fault." She said quietly.

A screen was brought up. It flickered through the pictures of people that had been taken by the blip. Chloe looked down at her ring as a picture of Kate was brought up. "Where's Thanos now?" Tony spoke up. "We don't know. He just opened a portal and walked through." Steve shrugged. Tony rolled his eyes and looked over to Thor who was sitting isolated from everyone else, deep in thought. "What's wrong with him?" Tony asked. "He's pissed. Think he failed." Rocket answered. "Which of course he did. But there's a lot of that going around, ain't there?"

"We've been hunting Thanos ever since he left. We got nothing." Steve admitted. "Tony you fought him-" Cap started.
"Who told you that? Fought him?' No, he wiped my face with a planet, while the Bleecker Street magician gave over the store. There was no fight because he's unbeatable." Tony interrupted sarcastically. "Alright, alright. Did he give you any clue, any Coordinates? Anything?" Steve listed. "Pffft." Tony huffed in reply.

Natasha let out a frustrated sigh and Chloe groaned out in annoyance. "Seems like space did no job of pushing down that massive fucking ego." She said bitterly, getting a shocked and angered look from Tony. "I saw this coming a few years back. I had a vision. I didn't wanna believe it, thought I was dreaming," Tony spoke. "I'm gonna need you to focus-" Steve said before being cut off once again. "I needed you. As in past tense. That trumps what you need. It's too late, buddy." Tony shook his head.

"I remember telling you guys what we needed was a suit of armour around the world. Remember that? Wether it impacted our precious freedoms or not; that's what we needed." Tony glared at Chloe as he spoke. She returned the gaze icily, feeling anger boil in her veins. "Well that didn't work out, did it?" Steve stepped in front of Chloe, his eyes burning into Tony.

"I said we'd lose, you said 'we'll do that together too'. Guess what Cap? We lost. And you weren't there," Tony's tone was low. "But that's what we do, right? Our best work after the fact? We're the Avengers. The Avengers not the Pre-vengers, right?" Rhodey stepped forward to calm his best friend down. "You made your point. Just sit down, okay?" He said in a hushed voice. "No, no. Here's my point. You know what? I've got nothing for you Cap. No coordinates, no strategies, no options. Nada. No trust, liar." Tony spat.

"Tony. Shut the fuck up." All eyes turned to Chloe. Instead of raising her voice, she spoke lowly and slowly. "Excuse me?" The man demanded. "Shut the fuck up." Chloe repeated. "You have no right to speak to me like-" Tony began.

"You have no right to be angry at Cap. You have no right to say there's no hope. You have no right to say we should give up. Cap- all of us, actually, no matter where we were, gave everything into that fight. We weren't directly with you but we were fighting the same fight. You saying it's too late is absolute bullshit-" Tony now cut Chloe off. "The only reason you want to hold out for hope is because Kate is gone. If she was still here you'd realise how hopeless everything really is." Tony shouted.

"Leave her name out of your mouth. The reason you lost hope is because you have Pepper. You have the person you care about most, so you're willing to just sit back and let the world heal on it's own without all those people who were lost to Thanos. It's exactly what you did with the accords. You're constantly siding with the things that offer you the best hand and turn a blind eye to those who are less fortunate." Chloe's voice remained low, a clear venom entering her tone.

Tony strode over to Chloe. "Here, take this." He said, tearing the arc reactor from his chest and placing it forcefully into the woman's hand. "You find Thanos and you put that on. You hide-" Tony collapsed and everyone rushed to help him. "I'm fine!" He panted out. Tony fainted and was rushed to a bed to rest. Chloe placed the arc reactor down and took a seat, her head in her hands as Natasha slowly rubbed her back. "He's stressed. I'm sure he didn't mean to offend you with what he said about Kate." The redhead whispered. "It's Tony. He'll say whatever and not give a shit. I've lost respect for him at this point. Actually I'm not sure if it was ever even there." Chloe shrugged.

"You guys take care of Tony and I'll bring him a Xorian elixir when I come back." The new woman said as she began walking off. "Where are you going?" Steve asked her. "To kill Thanos." She replied, not stopping or turning around as she spoke. Natasha, Chloe and Steve followed her.

"Hey!" Natasha called to her. "We usually work as a team here. Between you and I, morales a little fragile." She said.
"We realise how this is more your territory but this is our fight too." Steve told her. "You know where he is?" Chloe questioned. "I know people who might." Carol nodded. "Don't bother," Nebula gained attention of the group. "I can tell you where Thanos is."

"So where is he?" Steve asked as a hologram of Earth was brought up. "When Thanos snapped his fingers; Earth became ground zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions. No one's ever seen anything like it. Until two days ago, on this planet." Rocket explained, a new planet now being shown on the hologram. "Thanos is there." Nebula spoke.

"He used the stones again." Natasha realised quickly. "We'd be going in short handed, you know?" Bruce pointed out.
"Look he's still got the stones so..." Rhodey started. "So let's get 'em." Carol said. "Use them to get everyone back."

"Even if there's a small chance that we can undo this, I mean we owe it to everyone who's not in this room to try." Natasha said. Chloe hummed in agreement. Thor finally stood up in front of Carol. He summoned his axe and stared her directly in the eyes. "I like this one." He spoke approvingly.
"Let's go get this son of a bitch." Chloe grinned.
