Chapter Eleven

Madison's POV

Madison examined every inch of herself as she stood in front of the full-length mirror. Her heart was pounding with excitement and nervousness as she mentally prepared herself. This was it, the first show of the tour. After months of preparations, everything has finally come to life. She was wearing a lovely white outfit that accentuated her figure. Her makeup was immaculate, and her hair was fashioned in free waves that cascaded down her back. She inhaled deeply and closed her eyes while beginning to count down from 10. All of her previous concerns vanished.

As she opened her eyes, she heard a knock on the door. It was Olivia, "Madison, it's show time!" she said with a smile.

She skipped towards the blonde excitement coursed through her veins. They walked out of the dressing room towards the back of the stage. Everyone on the team stood in a circle, all with smiles on their faces.

The duo joined them, "Without you guys, I wouldn't be here, you have all played a critical part in making my dream come true. So I just want to say from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to each and every one of you." Madison looked at every in the circle, as they all cheered. "Let's give em a good show"

With that they all separated, everyone, dispersing to their respective jobs. Madison stood near the curtain peeking out at the crowd. Her heart pounding with anticipation and excitement. The roar of the crowd filled her ears, and she couldn't help but feel a wave of nerves wash over her. She took a deep breath and reminded herself that this was what she was born to do. She was a singer, and tonight was her night. The music started, and Madison stepped onto the stage, her eyes scanning the crowd as she walked toward the microphone. The sea of faces in front of her was overwhelming, but she knew that she had to focus on the music. She closed her eyes and began to sing, her voice soaring through the air.

The set was exactly how she envisioned it in her head, simple with lights everywhere and a large screen behind her to play the custom videos she created with a team. Later there would be a box the dancers would pushed around as she stood on it. 

As she performed, Madison felt a rush of energy flow through her. She moved to the rhythm of the music, her body swaying and her hands reaching out to the audience. They sang along with her, their voices blending with hers in perfect harmony. Her eyes scanned each and every face, all filled with so much joy. Her heart swelled at the sight, she never in a million years thought that'd she be in this position. Where she'd be able to share her passion for music with thousands of fans, and for people to love it just as much as her. Madison did what she best, she performed and gave it her all. For the next hour, that's what she did.

Until finally, the final notes of the song faded away, Madison opened her eyes and looked out at the crowd. They were on their feet, cheering and applauding. She couldn't help but smile, feeling a sense of satisfaction that only comes from a successful first performance. The two other dancers on stage conjoined hands with the singer, as petals of flowers, exploded into the crowd. Her eyes brimmed with tears of happiness as the three of them bowed, the room erupted in cheers yet again. Madison waved one last time soaking it all up, then skipped off stage.

Madison was surrounded by her team yet again, who congratulated her on a job well done. She couldn't stop smiling, feeling grateful for the opportunity to share her music with so many people.

Olivia and Madison shrieked in excitement as they embraced, "You were so fucking amazing out there!" They embraced, Madison still couldn't believe this was real life.

"I can't believe that just happened." The pop star beamed, she felt like she was floating.

Holding her arm's length away, "Well believe it, 'cause this is going to be your life for the next couple of weeks."
