Madison's POV

Madison fidgeted anxiously on the couch, watching Olivia intently as the song played through her headphones. The blonde manager bobbed her head along to the music, eyes closed in concentration as she listened. Madison had finally finished producing and recording the song she had written a week ago. Now came the moment of truth - letting Olivia be the first one to hear the finished track and offer feedback.

As the last piano notes faded out, Olivia slowly opened her eyes and removed the headphones. Madison held her breath, searching her friend's face for a reaction. For a long moment, Olivia just stared back at her silently. Then her eyes filled with tears.

"Mads...that was incredible," Olivia finally broke the silence, her voice hushed with emotion. "I could feel every ounce of your pain, your heartbreak. It's all there."

Madison released a shaky exhale, her body flooding with relief. "So you think it's good?"

Olivia grasped her hand firmly. "Good? Madison, that song is a masterpiece. It's raw, real, and so hauntingly beautiful. People are going to feel everything you felt when you wrote this."

The musician's heart lept with happiness at those words.

"I was so nervous to let you hear it. It came from such a dark, vulnerable place."

Olivia squeezed her hand supportively. "I know. But you turned that darkness into something special. Something people will connect to."

Madison nodded, a bit overwhelmed. She hadn't been sure if baring her soul so nakedly in the lyrics was the right move. It wasn't like she hadn't done it before, but there was something about this song. It was the way it was created, where it all started that meant so much to Madison. Olivia's faith in the song's power eased her doubts.

Madison nodded, feeling a bit overwhelmed. She had been hesitant to lay her soul so bare in the candid lyrics. While emotional transparency wasn't new territory for her songs, this one felt different. Perhaps it was the intensely painful place from which it was born that made Madison doubt exposing herself so wholly.

But Olivia's unwavering faith in the track's ability to resonate eased those nagging doubts. Her friend's validation reminded Madison that being vulnerable through music had always been her greatest strength. This song represented a part of her life she needed to remember. Only question was, did she want to share it with the rest of the world?

Olivia's cell phone put a halt to the questions in her head, "What? Baby slow down, what's wrong with Kian."

Madison's head snapped up at the mention of Kian's name, her heart lurching. She listened intently as Olivia tried to parse out details from her clearly panicked partner.

"Okay, just try to wake her up. I'm leaving now," Olivia said urgently. She hung up and turned to Madison, worry etched on her face.

"What is it? What's wrong?" Madison asked, anxiety swirling inside her.

Olivia quickly gathered her things. "I don't know exactly, but Lucas stopped by Kian's place and found her passed out in her bathroom."

Madison paled, her worst fears confirmed. She knew Kian had been struggling badly since their fight, but not like this.

"Oh god," Madison whispered shakily. She started grabbing her stuff too. "I'm coming with you."

"Are you sure? I know things have been difficult between you two lately." Olivia questioned gently. "

Madison nodded firmly,  "I have to make sure she's okay. We'll deal with the rest later."

Olivia gave her arm a supportive squeeze. They hurried out together, both filled with worry about Kian's state.
