Laswell spoke as she opened her office dorr and you and the others entered .
She pulled up an image on the computer in front of her and showed you guys what it was .
'' there is a mission for you find hassan , he was seen up in a warehouse in las almas , you will be working with special mexican forces with alejandro to retrieve information on another set of missiles they had placed away .''
She said pointing out to the map shown on her screen .

" you'll head out to the chopper and you'll be heading to Mexico and you'll be getting picked up by Alejandro and the others ."
She said and they all nodded in unison.
You and them headed out and you walked through the hallway and fixed your vest straps.

" Just like that ? No question or anything."
You said looking up at price .
" We have our order and now we go and do our jobs ."
He spoke .
" Laswell just sent me the location."
Soap said holding up a data pad .

" good , we head out to the chopper now and we head out ."
Price said and you nodded .
You didn't understand the life of the military as much because you have only stood there for a week now . You were all currently in London at the moment so it was self explanatory why you had to take a chopper to head off but you've never been to mexico.

'' who are we meeting again ?.''
You asked as you strapped yourself in your seat and kept your laptop in hand .
'' alejandro vargas .''
GHost said plainly .
'' were meeting with special mexican forces you nut , did you not hear ?.''
Soap chuckled .
'' my mistake GOOD SIR sorry you didn't explain to me what's happening .''
You said sarcastically, earning a chuckle from the others .

'' were working with special mexican forces to see if we can get information on hassan and where he has the missiles and we must bring him in , we don't know what will happen but we got orders to kill if needed since hassan has connections with someone outside of there.''
Price spoke .
'' so this is capture or kill ?.''
You say confused .
'' exactly , don't get killed.''
Ghost said sternly while giving you a dead look.

'' wait soap give me the location again .''
You asked while opening your laptop .
'' it's in las almas .''
Soap said .
You gave him a nod and you opened up a drone you had made yourself and you turned it on.
'' What's that ?.''
Ghost asked .
'' a drone , i might be able to find the exact location .''
You spoke while setting it up.

'' where'd you get it ?.''
Price asked, confused .
'' i made it and kept it in my room for some time .''
You said as you watched it come to life. The door of the helicopter slid open letting in a thick breeze . you watch the drones rotors spin and you throw it outside . you watched on your laptop for the location on a radar and you smirked to yourself .

You tracked the location of your drone and you looked down at the controls and you flew it to where you would be headed. You didn't need to worry about battery life since it ran all day which was the best thing you could've added to it .

You kept a look on your screen and made sure that no one could spot your drone or anything else and you kept a good look around . You saw the city below and how it popped up on your computer . Soap nudged you but your ignored him since you had to work but he did it again.

"'What ? ."
You said sternly .
" Did you charge your computer ?."
Soap asked.
" No, I just left it out all night to drain the battery ."
You said sarcastically.
" alrighty then ."
Soap chuckled .

" me and Gaz will stay back here , we are sending you and ghost off along with y/n on this mission."
Price said .
You nodded and didn't think much of it and you kept what you were doing.

" Call me soap ."
Soap spoke as he shook Alejandro's hand.
" Lieutenant , Laswell says they call you ghost ."
Alejandro said as he looked at the skull masked man.
" actually he pefers-
" that'll do ."
Ghost said loudly and sternly, earning a giggle from you .
" Who is this ?."
Alejandro questioned while looking at you .
" y/n , she's our hacker for this mission ."
Soap said .
" hi ."
You said in a low tone .

" didn't know our hacker was this young ."
Alejandro spoke.
" didn't know you were old."
You said back wanting a chuckle from the others.
" Welcome to the city of souls ."
Alejandro nodded as he walked and headed to the humvee .

" I've never been to Mexico."
You said while looking around .
" this isn't Mexico , this is las almas."
Alejandro said while looking at you for a moment . You looked down at your drone and made sure to keep watch. You didn't see anything yet but you knew there was something out there .

" Shepherds contractors are inbound to reinforce , bringing hardware . You'll need room ."
Ghost said sternly .
" my base is your base ."
Alejandro said.
" Good , now where's Hassan?"
Ghost replied .
" cartel safe house , ten clicks from here , get in ."
He said back as he entered the humvee . You nodded and slid over into the middle seat between ghost and soap and sighed .

You looked at them confused but you kept back to what you were doing but you just didn't question it . Ghost placed his rifle between his legs to make sure that it was ready . You saw another person in the truck and you looked at him . Alejandro got in the passenger side and you all closed the doors and got ready.

" This is my second major in command , sergeant major Rodolfo para ."
Alejandro said .
" le tengo miedo a los fantasmas."

Rodolfo said as he started to drive .

" you know Spanish ?."
Alejandro asked and you shook your head no .
" you will ."
He said back again and you gave a plain look. ok.
You started to head off and you looked out the back window and saw other humvees follow behind.

'' white truck , four armed in the back .''
Soap said sternly, causing Ghost to tightly grip his rifle .
'' hey tranquilo easy...that's normal here .''
Alejandro reassured .
'' guns on the street are jurisdiction of the police.''
He spoke up again .
'' where are the police ?.''
You questioned .
'' well las almas has a very serious problem here .''
Alejandro said while turning to look at you .

'' there are few here to uphold the law and many of those who resist corruption...disspear .''
He said earning a look from soap . you looked at the men with a concerned look but then you remember that there were a bunch of military men so it's pretty normal .
'' what about the military ?.''
Soap questioned .
'' Well, because we are well trained , soldiers are recruited by the narcos . ''
'' why not you .''
Ghost said sternly while eyeing Alejandro .
'' We grew up here , they call us los vaqueros . cowboys .''
He responded as he looked out the window .
'' we love this place , and we will die fighting for it .''
Alejandro spoke up again.

You looked out the window to see people selling stuff from vendor carts and other things and such . this was new and you didn't know much of what would happen , yet again there were many things that were new to you such as this life .
