Shit beginning ( chapter 24)

A/n - this chapter and the next few chapters will involve blood and violence so please be aware of that and I will not be posting this weekend but I will post this upcoming Monday ,anyways I'm back and enjoy the chapter :)

You and the others made sure the cost was secure and clear and you all stood up . Ghost held his rifle tightly and watched for any sudden movements in the distance and kept on guard . you thought back to what you had said earlier and you looked down with a dimly lit flashlight and you looked in the snow .
'' Guys look at the prints in the snow , we can follow them . stupid ass soldier left them for us .''
You said.
Ghost took your flashlight from you and you were about to say something until he pressed a button on the side of your goggles . you saw a mix of dark and light greens all around and you realized something and you smiled to yourself.
'' holy shit there night goggles , this is so cool.''
You said excitedly .

You fixed them and made sure they were okay and you looked at Ghost and the others and thought that they looked cool but even better you had a pair yourself . you held the tablet in your hand and you typed in something and started to get a signal . you kept focused and you soon saw a ping pop up .
'' Okay so I found where the missiles could be located but I can disarm them from here . if we take out the shadows nd i disarm the missiles we might be able to send in a backup team to load off the missiles and back to base to a bomb squad or something .''
You said as you typed on your tablet .

'' that's not such a shabby plan .''
Soap spoke.
'' Not at all , we follow the tracks and we sneak in and take them from behind .''
Price said .
'' that's what she said .''
You smirked .
Soap chuckled and ghosts sighed and the others shook their heads .
Somehow even during the worst and most important times you managed to crack a joke .

You and the others started waking up again and following the soldiers' boot prints and you made sure to keep on guard as you inched closer and closer with every step you took . The wind started to pick up and the coldness made your face feel numb. You kept trudging through the snow and you soon came across their campsite. You and the others ducked down and you looked over and saw a giant crate that read fragile on it and you looked on your tablet and your screen went green .
'' okay the missiles are here , i can stay here in this little ditch while you take out the assholes.''
You whispered quietly as you tapped away trying to hack into the missile system.
'' aright zero , stay here and we'll handle the rest but you must do your assignment.''
prices spoke and you gave a nod .
The others gave each other hand signals you didn't understand yet but you saw them start to split up and go in separate directions , you could only assume they were gonna circle them and trap them making sure they couldn't get out .

You hid yourself in the snow and you typed away on your device . your mindset was clear when it came to hacking but most of all it was very understandable to yourself .The hacker mindset is about thinking about all of the possibilities in any situation. It's about thinking of all the ways you can use a clay brick. You can use it to build a wall, use it as a paperweight, use it as a doorstop, use it to prevent a hot frying pan from melting a plastic table covering.

Ghost lurked behind the shadows at the campsite and he thought for a moment .
How could they be this fucking stupid to be out like this ? he thought . he slung his rifle over his shoulder and took out one of his throwing knives and he got into position and got ready to strike. He got a clear shot of the soldiers necks and he extended his arm and aimed straight . He threw the  knives quickly , two at once and he hit both in their juggulars . There were about 12 in total but he knew they wouldn't make it . their bodies hit the  ground with a thud and a gurgling noise could be heard from their mouths as they choked on their own blood . blood pooled around them which was a sight Ghost had seen many times in his career .

The other fellow shadow soldiers took out their rifles and they looked around but they couldn't see much .
'' there's someone on the perimeter get ready for fire we have reached with enemy contact ,''
The soldiers said as they huddled together and held the rifles tightly . one soldier looked in horror as they saw there once to be a comrade lying dead in the snow in a pool of blood.  Soap pulled one and dragged one into the woods and all that was heard was the screams of the soldier. The screams were cut short as soap stabbed him multiple times in the throat leaving him on the floor to bleed out and die . Ghost shot a few down leaving there to be about five left.Gaz took out two more and Price and Ghost finished off the last three. It wasn't very smart if the shadows to huddle together in a circle like that ,, ghost and the others had picked them off one by one in the shadows so they couldn't see who was coming and it was stupid of them to not have night vision goggles but ye again the whole shadow company is run but dumbasses so it was no surprise .

You sat in the snow typing away and you groaned as you tried to get the access codes open . you blocked out all the gunfire noise and screams but put in earplugs that you had unknowingly brought with you. You hacked into the mainframe and into the malware system , you didn't even think that missiles had this and they had to be defused by hand .You kept typing until your screen went bright green and started flashing green. You were in but you had to pass one more protocol . you went in the systems and finally grabbed hold of the access codes and you entered them in and finally deactivated the systems .
'' YEAH I FUCKIN DID IT .''
You said excitedly as you raised your tablet in the air .
You quickly pulled out your earplugs since there was no need and they were kinda bothering your ears and you smiled to yourself .You got up out of the snow quickly and you went to check on the others until you heard a growl come from behind you .Your happiness faded and  your blood  ran cold as you turned around slowly to see a Kodiak bear .
'' oh fuck..''
You said quietly as you panicked more.
'' uh guys ...there's another problem.''
You slightly shouted as the bear neared .
You didn't move but stood still , you wanted to move but you felt as if you couldn't. You were frozen in fear .

Ghost looked over to you and saw you standing still  and he looked out in front of you to see the bear.
'' fuckin hell...''
He spoke .
He picked up his rifle and wasted no time and started to shoot at the bear . you took this as and opportunity and you ran towards them but this angered the bear and it started to charge at you.
'' I TOLD YOU I KNEW  THIS SHIT WOULD HAPPEN .''
You yelled as you ran quickly, almost tripping .
Ghost  kept  firing at the bear and hit it dead center between its eyes.
The bear dropped to the ground and you turned around to see it lying dead.
You went next to Ghost and looked at him .
'' you killed a bear ....that's cool ..but scary.''
You said out of breath.
'' alright let's get the hell out of here before something else happens , we don't need any run ins with a moose or wolves and shit .''
Gaz spoke and you agreed.

Before you and the others had left the area, Price called a cleanup squad and a cargo carrier to take the missiles out of here . This mission was short lived and crazy. It wasn't the biggest mission but yet again any mission you go on is a big mission and a dangerous one at that as well . you started walking up again and price made the call to clean up the shadows and such and called someone else to grab the missiles out of here . it was all until you felt a pinch in your thigh . you looked down and saw a little glass vial with something fuzzy at the end and you were confused on what it was until your vision started to go blurry .

your walking became wobbly and you started to slip into darkness . your breathing became slower and you soon collapsed . you heard the yells of Ghost and the others and you soon heard gun fire . you felt someone pick you up but you were too out of it to even know who it was . you were thrown onto some sort of sled and you watched as you left your team . you couldn't really make out what was going on but you knew it was not good , it wasn't long till your world faded to black .
