Mandatory fun day ( chapter 17)

"alright alright im putting my boots on .''
You said as you messily tied the string of your boots .
You were currently getting ready to go to a field on base for your mandatory fun day , everyone from the task force including price was gonna bbe there . you wondered what they had in store as you finished getting ready .

You wore some clean cargos with your boots and a simple shirt of choice and you were getting ready . you dashed out of your room and saw everyone waiting for you in the rec room.
'' by the time you tie your boots ill be retired .''
Price chuckled .
'' okay old man .''
You giggled .

'' let's head to the field shall we ?.''
Price said earning a bunch of yes sirs from the others .
You walked out of the rec room with everyone following behind them and you walked out into the main base . you walked through the hallways and you saw many soldiers saluting you and the others and you did it back awkwardly but soon got the hang of it . it was a little bit cold but you weren't too bothered  by it as you walked through the hallways .

you passed the shooting range and as you walked passed you saw other soldiers practicing their shooting as well . you didn't know why some of the soldiers were such assholes there but maybe they were just like that , you thought . you made your way towards the outside field and you went through twoo double doors and out into the field and you sighed in relief when your face was met with the fresh air .

It was sunny out and wasn't very cold and the sky was blue with a few patches of clouds . you then saw a table with gray protective suits along with safety goggles and some gloves with a few sledge hammers splayed out on the table . you then saw a giant box sitting in the middle of the field .
'' alright we made it .''
Soap said .
'' thanks for letting me know captain obvious .''
You said sarcastically .
'' Alright, you're gonna put this stuff on over your clothes and you're gonna get geared up . ''
Price said as you walked over to the table .

You took one of the gray suits and you slipped in it gently , it was a bit big on you and was baggy but you didn't mind it won't but . you put on your safety goggles and gloves and made sure everything was tight and secure and you giggled when you saw soap struggling to fix his suit . Once everyone was suited up, Price handed you each a sledge hammer and you looked at him with an excited look but confused.

'' how come we need all this ?.''
You asked confused .
'' you'll see .''
Price said intriguingly .
You shook your head and you all walked over to the large box setup and it was a pretty huge thing . Price opened the doors and you saw a bunch of glass bottles and other random things in there such as chairs and tables .

'' WOAH IS THIS A RAGE ROOM ???.''
You said happily and excitedly .
'' it sure is.''
Soap replied with a grin .
Price closed the door behind him and they stood around looking at you.
'' let's break some shit .''
You grinned as you immediately picked up a bottle and threw it on the wall , smashing it into little pieces . glass flew everywhere and this glass bottle was destroyed .

You picked up a wine bottle that was green and you set your sledge hammer on the ground and you started hitting it on the ground .
'' you blokes gonna stare around or you gonna do something .''
You giggled as you broke the bottle .
'' she got that from you didnt she .''
Soap said to Ghost .
'' she's learning from the best .''
He said simply .

Soap picked up a tiny clay cup and he threw it at ghost and once it came into contact with his shoulder it cracked .
You picked up the chair nearby and you lifted it in the air and smashed it on the ground.
The wood split on the floor and it broke into separate pieces of wood  . you let all your pent up anger out and you let it slip out slowly as you broke more things around you . soap and the  others did some damage as well and they had fun for once themselves . you made sure not to put too much pressure on your good arm but you getting out your anger blinded your feelings from the pain .

You picked up the sledge hammer and you completely bashed the table in creating a hole in the middle . you laughed and destroyed some more things but you soon started to get tired . your hits became slower and you became a bit weaker than the thought hit you .
'' Wait, how the hell did you get this set up overnight?''
You said amazed and confused.
'' magic .''
Gaz grinned.
'' nah we just woke up earlier before you did and did everything .''
Soap spoke .
'' ahh makes sense .''
You said.

You were having fun , the most fun you've ever had besides the times you have had with archers.
Ghost and the others enjoyed seeing you happy , they didn't want you to be upset or hurt and you knew they would try their best to keep you safe as best as possible . you were becoming extremely tired and you were out of breath . you looked at ghost and soap and saw them in a ready fight stance .
'' you think your better then me johnny ?.''
Ghost teased.
'' could be .''
Soap smirked .
Ghost went to grab soap but soap bolted out the door and he ran into the field . your eyes widened and you laughed out and ran out the door after them .

'' I'M VOTING MY MONEY ON GHOST .''
You giggled and shouted as you caught up to them and ran after them .
'' get back here you muppet .''
Ghost said as he jumped and tackled soap in the grass .
You caught up after them and you jumped and rolled next to them in the grass .
Ghost had soap in a headlock and soap was grinning like a mad man . you giggled and jumped on Ghost pulling him off soap and you let go of Ghost and rolled some more in the fluffy grass.

Price and gaz caught up to you and the others and Soap got up and laughed brushing off the dirt of his jeans . you rolled around some more in the grass and you smiled while taking a deep breath.you didn't care about your shoulder at the moment all you could care about was the freedom you felt.
'' god this is the best feeling ever !.''
You said while rolling around , letting all your worries slip away .
Soap shrugged and smiled and rolled around with you .
Gaz joined in as well and you all were rolling around like a bunch of dogs .

Ghost stood and watched along with Price as they watched you and the others roll around , price chuckled at the sight and he nudged Ghost .
'' your in charge of y/n alright .''
Price said and Ghost nodded .
'' i've been took up that job.''
Ghost replied with a little huff .
Ghost looked at the sight of you and the others enjoying yourselves . He heard a bunch of giggles erupt throughout the field .
Ghost was gonna stick with you know but he was glad to be able to help you in any way even if he didn't show it much . he was gonna make sure you didn't grow up how he did but he knew soap and the others would pitch in to help with you and to be there for you .
