Arrival ( chapter 11 )

TW- panic attack

A/n - I'm sorry if this is not as long as other chapters but I hope you enjoy this one :)

'' alright  ya both made it .''
Ghost said as you and soap neutered in the truck .
You sat in the back while soap sat in the passenger's seat next to Ghost .
'' we made it L.t .''
Soap smirked .

You looked at them both gladly until the glass windows shattered from bullets coming through, tiny glass pieces fell on you and you ducked down and kept low . you felt your breathing get heavier and your chest started to get tight . you didn't know what was happening but you tried to calm down . your hands started to tremble a bit and you looked up at the two men in the truck with you with a now worried and panicked look .  soap took out his hand gun again and he started to shoot back at the enemy . Ghost got the truck up and running and he looked back and backed up into the enemy shadows , hitting them with the back end of the truck and he started to drive off once they were on the ground .

'' that's one way of doing it .''
Soap said .
'' watch it .''
Ghost said as he shot another shadow through the soap's window .
'' thanks , now drive i'll cover us .''
Soap said quickly and Ghost sped off .
Soap shot at the shadows and he did his best to shoot them and shoot them off .
Ghost drover over a pile of debris causing the truck to rock and sway . once he drove over that  you and them were now off safely , for once ...

Soap heard your quicken breaths since of how quiet it was and he looked at you .
'' woah what's wrong ?.''
Soap said worried .
'' i don't know i feel like i-i can't breathe...''
You said while trying to  calm down.
'' your having a panic attack .''
Ghost said .
'' probably triggered from the gunshots .''
Soap cursed under his breath .

'' i–i it wont stop make it stop .''
You pleaded as tears streamed down your cheeks .
'' listen y/n you need to breathe , breath with me .''
Soap said calmly while looking at you .
'' i cant i cant .''
You shook your head .
'' yes you can , breath in and breathe out .''
Soap said as he took a deep breath and exhaled.

You nodded and you took a deep shaky breath and you exhaled .
'' Good , it's okay now, see . you can do it .''
Soaps  encouraged .
You did this with soap for about five minutes until your breathing got regulated and at  a steady pace.
'' i don't want to do this no more....i just want to stay back at base ..''
You said as you wiped your tears .
'' we will , soon very soon .''
Soap reassured you.
'' stay calm okay , well be okay .''
Soaps added .

You nodded and tried not to put pressure on your arm and you kept on high alert , you didn't want to be calm not after all the shit that had happened . there was no being calm in this situation , Alejandro got captured , you got shot , graves betrayed them and so much more so no there was no being calm .

You were alert and frightened,You thought about everything that has happened so far and you just wanted to be in your bed and curl up and cry . this wasn't your ideal life but you felt as if you could make something of it before but now you just wished this didn't happen . you wished to be with them , without the violence and such . Ghost noticed you staring off out the window and he looked at you through the rear view mirror .
'' are you alright ?.''
He asked .
'' for now .''
You replied and he stood quiet .

It was still raining and  it was very cold . the mission wasn't over and it won't be for a while you had graves now on your asses and shepherd has something to do with this as well .

'' What's this ?.''
You asked as you all walked to the small shack like structure in front of you .
'' Alejandro's safe  house , gave me the location just in case . ''
Ghost said quietly .
'' why didn't you tell me .''
Soap asked .
'' it was need to know .''
Ghost replied back .
'' what if i needed to know ?.''
Soap said a bit more loudly .
'' shhh shut the fuck up .''
You whispered yelled and they both stopped the bickering .

You all walked towards  the entrance carefully and you followed behind Ghost .
Ghost kneeled down and he swiped his hand over the ground carefully and cursed to himself .
'' pressure plate...''
Soap said sternly .
'' Alejandro rigged it....smart bastard.. .''
Ghost said quietly.

Ghost knew that there was his safe house but he didn't know that Alejandro had rigged it . One wrong move and the whole place around you could light up . You looked at it cautiously and got close enough to see how it looked . You looked at soap with a tired and pained look and you shook your head .

Soap couldn't blame you for how you felt I mean you were in a shit ton of pain and now you had to go on some mission that went far south and now your running for your lives because some
Fix it Felix remake wants to now kill you and the others . Just the tiniest bit of a screw up and you could wind up dead on these missions.

" So what now ?."
You said tiredly .
" You followed my lead."
Ghost said sternly.
You  winced as you moved your arm but you took ghosts throwing knives and got prepared . Soap went to say something but you cut him off .

'' i can handle it .''
You said sternly .
You were hungry , tired and fed up . you wanted to be back at base and you wanted to feel and be safe . you miss your dear friend archer . you hadn't chosen this life it chose you but were you down to make dew with it ? . you would work through it slowly but for now you had to work through it and find alejandro and get him back but another mission was to kill graves .

You followed behind ghost but you saw something in the corner of your eye .

You pointed to an open window and you look at ghost . It was really dark but not enough to not be able to see . You found and opening but all you had to do now was get in but most importantly to make sure no one else was there. It would be a tough situation but you would make it . You were a tough one , you had made it to another checkpoint and now you had to keep moving on .
