10 - 𝘚𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵 𝘓𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳

"Guys seriously how much longer is this going to take?" I whined sitting down holding a camera as Claire, Billie and Zoe aced out a scene Infront of me. We promised them we would help with their film assignment but I didn't think it would take this much energy out of me.

"Okay ACTION!" Claire yelled as Zoe acted and jumped onto Billie's back pretending to attack her. I didn't even know what this film was about but I didn't mind since acting is definitely not a talent of mine.

"Ahhhh Maddy noo help me...-"

"BILLIE! You have to put more emotion into it!" Zoe called out Billie's monotoned acting.

"Wait why is she saying my name? I didn't know I was a character in it too?" I asked pausing the camera.

"Yeah sorry we have to use you too since Ali didn't wanna be apart of this." Claire tells me. Ughh I hated this."

"Okay fine can we just get this over with? We have to leave soon ?" I complained and pressed start on the film button again.

I felt bad rushing them but I wanted to make it to Alisons uncles in time since we planned on going there to...talk about something.

I listened to Billie screaming my name for a few minutes before wrapping up and walking outside into the cold fresh breeze. A hour later we walked through the two white french doors of the estate and made our way upstairs past the gorgeous Victorian stained windows.

"I don't know but I have a feeling when the five of us go back tonight for the S trip meeting, Mr. Thompson's gonna know we skipped today." Jason says putting a pillow under his head from the bed.

Billie, Ali, Zoe, Jason and I all decided to skip today's classes since barely anyone was going. Tonight was Clearwater's highschool meeting about the senior trip that was coming up soon and everyone as well as their parents would be there at 7pm sharp. Emphasis on the sharp or else we "won't be allowed in the building blah blah blah..."

Today wasn't an official skip day by teacher standards but they knew everyone would anyway, I mean did they really think we would spend 6 hours at school just to go back a few hours later, no way in hell. Besides me and Billie had to be there by 6 since we told Zoe and Claire we would help act in their project for film class or whatever it was they wanted us to do.

"So why are we here? Since you dragged us all out of our beds this morning and still managed to forget to tell us what the reason is." Zoe said with the I hate you tone , the same one she has been speaking to me with all week...if she even speaks to me at all.

Ever since we told her the truth about Robin and Scar and every little sinful detail about what really happened, she's been furious with me. Jason understands why me and Bil did what we did but Zoe is a little less forgiving. I don't blame her.

"Yeah babe you haven't even told me why either." Billie chimes in on Zoes question.

"Last night me and Billie went to the old Whitlock property, remember the one with the pool underground?" I stood up off the bed about to tell them my recent enlightenment into something I never thought I would understand.

"The one that the sheriff's office warns people about?" Ali says after my sentence spiked her interest in this conversation. She's been lost in her own world ever since we were questioned.

"Damn so everything you two have been doing is illegal lately huh." Zoe scoffs under her breath. I shake her sly comment off and get on with my story.

"So yesterday we found something when we were...um...-"

"Oh god Maddy no please dont tell me you kept that." Billie grunts and puts her face between the pillow as I pull out the loosely taped letter we found last night out of my back pocket.
