"Hey Maddy its Kit, uh is everything okay in there?"
Oh no.
Shit.
"I heard a scream, are you okay?" Kit knocks nonstop on the hotel door.
My eyes go back and forth from the limp body covered in redness and the hotel door knob shaking. I stood up tucking my now red towel under my arm, I moved back knocking over my perfume bottle crashing onto the floor mixing in with the blood.
"Maddy, I hear you. I will literally break down the door if you don't say you're okay." The knocks get more harsh as she speaks.
"I'm fine! Just go away, I don't feel good!" I yell back. She stopped knocking for a moment.
"Why did you yell then? I keep hearing things smash from next door just open up." The door shakes again.
Fuck. "Hold on!" I grab a clean towel and throw the bloodied one over the camera in the bathroom.
My shaky hand grabbed the cold brass door knob. She couldn't see him from here, I just wont let her in.
"Hi." I smiled, opening the door an inch.
"Okay what's going on, why are you in a towel?" Her eyes move up and down my body.
"I...was just about to shower and then I knocked my perfume over. Really everythings ok-
"Why are you already wet then?" She questions me.
"Hm?" I look behind me quickly panicking.
"If you were about to shower, why is there already shampoo in your hair?" She grabs the door handle.
"I-I..I just don't feel good Kit can you please leave." I try shutting the door but her strength stops me.
"Why is there glass all over the floor-" Kit pushes me walking through the door and coming to a halt.
I shut the door behind me and locked it as I looked at the back of her messy dark hair as she stood there not moving.
She turns around, her eyes as wide as a deer caught in headlights in shock from the scene on the floor.
She gasps, her mouth opened about to say something before I walked over and pushed her against the wall.
"Kit! Kit I know! I know it looks bad but please don't freak out, don't scream." I cover her mouth with my hand.
Her eyebrows tilt upwards afraid of the body on the floor. Her hand grabs mine covering her mouth as I slowly lower it.
"Please please don't scream....I can explain." I moved a few inches away from her with my hands out trying to calm down the situation.
"He spied on us and when I was in the shower I noticed a light and the camera was attached to it and then my girlfriend came in and started taunting me sitting on the chair and walking to me and starting to kiss me but she's been dead and she's supposed to be back home in the group but...and then he attacked me and I looked for my knife and....and....Kit please you need to help me i'm not crazy." I stopped rambling realizing how insane I must sound right now.
"He attacked you?" She asks, standing up straight looking at the hotel worker on the cold tile floor.
"Yeah he put cameras in the bathrooms and probably in your rooms too and he was watching us through the showers and-"
"Fuck..." She whispered looking around. "Hey...hey okay stop talking just calm down." She grabbed my shoulders.
"What cameras?" She leans down to my height staring me in my eyes. I led her to the bathroom and opened the door, moving the red towel out of the way revealing the pieces of black glass scattered across the floor.
