"Let's start off with why you decided to buy a pistol on the night of November 25th of last year using a fake ID?"

I paused, not knowing what to say. How did they even know that? I checked for cameras that day.

"Cat got your tongue?" He laughs. "Fine next question-"

"I-I thought someone was following me okay? I was scared." Fuck first question in and im aleready changing my story.

"Scared of what exactly?" He questioned.

"I thought someone was following me around town. So I bought one for safety." I looked over to my mom, shocked to even imagine her daughter holding up a gun.

"So you made a fake ID to buy it?" He wanted answers.

"Yes-"

"And where is it currently?" He stepped closer towards me.

"I um...I threw it away. I didn't want my parents to find it."I looked down.

"Where? The garbage-"

"Noo I threw it off La Push." Stop changing the story.

"You're aware it's illegal to purchase firearms in this state without the proper training right young lady?"

"Uh yeah I know..."I say.

"But you also lied about this lighter being yours correct?" He held up a small red bag with my lighter trapped inside.

"Yeah I was scared, it was from my girlfriend so I got nervous." I exhaled.

"Your girlfriend....Uh Ms.Fox?" Him mentioning Scarlett's name makes me look up.

"Yes she had given it to me before her passing." Which was true.

"And that's why you moved here right? Did you want revenge on someone in the town? Were you suspicious of her death?"He tries to start making me look guilty.

"No I wasn't, I just wanted to be closer to her family." I glanced at Scarlett's parents in the audience.

"So you left your home behind?" He wonders.

"I wanted closure, I was not with her when she did. I needed to say goodbye. I thought moving here would help me find out why she killed herself." I say.

"And did you find out why she did?" He asked me.

"Um I think so, she was just  depressed."

"Aren't we all?" He laughed "How many times have you visited her at Clearwater cemetery?"

"Uh like a couple times I think." I answer.

"And so two weeks ago when you visited you decided to destroy her burial place?"

How the fuck are they getting this information?

"Im allowed to be sad and grieve over something like that, the only thing im guilty of is ruining her grave bc im mad i never got to say goodbye okay? I am mad at scarlett for leaving me-"

"So you thought the best Idea was to ruin a holy gravesite?I'm mad at my father for passing away and I wouldn't dare touch his grave. Would you say your still in love with her-"

"No, I have moved on." I looked over at Billie.

"Right right, you're now currently in a relationship with Ms.Oconnel sitting in the second row correct?" He points her out, making her nervous, what a prick.

"Yes." I nod.
