Concussion

Ophelia was scared beyond what a mother should be when Katsuki arrived with her daughter in his arms showing signs of a concussion. Her eyes were unfocused and she did not respond to any stimulation. She was damn lucky that Recovery Girl happened to be here today.

"There you go, Eevee. You should let her rest for a few days, and monitor her symptoms. If she does not wake up in a few hours or it gets worse, call me." The elderly heroine said and put a compression bandage around the impact.

"Thank you, Sensei." Ophelia sighed, relieved that the physical injury was not as bad. How will her mentality be, no one will know until she wakes. She then slid out of her daughter's room to head downstairs to where the boys are currently.

Izuku was the first person to walk toward her. "Ophi-san, how's Eevee?"

"Recovery Girl has healed her injuries however, due to the stamina it needed she will be unconscious for a while. She does show signs of a concussion, so we need to monitor for confusion, aggression, memory loss, and possible personality issues."

Katsuki clicked his tongue in anger. "If I had my Quirk active at the time I would blast his leg off, or maybe his mouth or dick."

"Technically, I am glad you didn't. I just received word that the guy has been arrested and pending charges on assault and hate crimes." the serpentine then smiled. "Tsukauchi says thank you, he was one of the people wanted for evasion."

"That works." The blonde replied and sat back down on the couch. "So this Eevee was the one you were talking about Izuku?"

Izuku just smiled and nodded. "Yes, she is amazing. Eevee has helped me a lot when I freak out. Her Eevi-Morphs are amazing. She can also transform into Flareon and Vaporeon, along with the elemental aspects."

Katsuki raised an eyebrow. "Just like the Pokemon game, huh? My question is; how did a video game character end up her looks."

Ophelia shrugged, "That is the one thing we can't figure out."

The duo then started their studies where their at-home teacher happened to be the newest member of the Pro Heroes, Hawks. It took some time to get back into the rhythm after a week off but they were able to manage.

"Awesome, you owletts are on your way to graduate." Hawks said with enthusiasm, waving one of his red feathers at the two. "Keep this up and you will show the world that you mean business."

"We better, otherwise getting to UA will be pointless." Katsuki growled, now giving up the fact that Hawks will continue to call him Owlett for a while. "We need to break the system."

"I agree," Izuku replied and his wings danced a little wildly. "Even if UA accepts all kinds of people for the Pro Hero course, only a small portion are accepted in the QRA approved agency. It pisses me off that they see those whose abilities are either useless, villainous or a liability worthless."

"Hey now, cherub." Hawks replied, getting Izuku's attention. "Your heart is in the right place, but don't go into the cat's den without a plan, that is one way to get your feathers clipped."

"I ain't that stupid, Hawks." Izuku replied with a deadpan, then he smiled wickedly. "However, I would not mind trying to break down the pyramid from the inside out."

Katsuki stared at the verdanette with wide eyes. Never in his life had I seen Izuku with such a look, nor seen him with a sociopathic vibe. He shuddered, wondering if he should be proud or fucking scared.

"Everyone, Eevee's awake."

"Really!!??" Izuku yelled and nearly ran the blonde over to get to the stairs. "How is she!?"

"Her mind is still sharp, just a change in the vernacular," Ophelia replied, a little sad but overall happy that there are no serious injuries. "We will check on her Quirk when we take you to get yours examined and identified next weekend to see if there are any changes."

Izuku's smile slightly dropped but picked it back up. "Can we see her?"

The serpentine nodded, "Of course, I think Eve would love to see you and Katsuki."

"Are you sure? I mean, I just met her." Katsuki asked with some uncertainty. "I think it would be best if she is with people she knows.

"She actually requested you." Ophelia answered with a smile. "She wants to thank the person who smelled like caramel."

The blonde choked and blushed at what the girl was describing him as. Izuku just snickered behind his hands and took a picture of his friend's rare reaction.

Katsuki looked murderous. "Delete that..." He threatened.

Izuku responded by sending the photo to Mitsuki. "Too late."

He was about to ask what he meant by that when his phone got a ping from his mother.

"WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY SON!??? THIS PICTURE IS TOO CUTE TO BE MY BRAT!"

"Izuku..."

"Karma." The verdanette replied with a bright smile, disarming the blonde at his false innocence.

The trio then went up to Eevee's room now and the girl was now in her hybrid form. She smiled widely at them.

"Izu-kun! Eevee's glad you are here. Can Eevee get a hug?"

The verdanette jolted at the change of Eevee's speech but smiled just the same. "Of course Eevee-chan. I am happy you are doing ok."

The duo hugged and Eevee squeezed at certain points, causing Izuku's spine to crack. He melted. "That feels good..."

Eevee giggled. "Eevee is doing fine, just tired and have a headache. Hopefully Eevee will be fine to still get to UA."

"You planning to be a hero too?"

Eevee blinked and looked behind the greenette to see the blonde right next to the door. He looked like he still wasn't sure if to be there. Eevee twitched her nose and smiled, wagging her tail in happiness.

"You are the one who smells like caramel! Thank you for helping me, Eevee wasn't sure what would happen if the man continued."

Katsuki was caught off guard by the girl's tail before shaking his head to clear some thoughts. That tail is cute. "No worries, the jerk was out of line. He has been caught now."

"Awesome! What is your name?" The girl asked, looking at him with those wide-chocolate eyes. "Eevee don't think you would like me to call you by your scent."

"Katsuki Bakugou."

The girl then smiled even wider and her tail waved faster. "OH, you are the one Izu-kun mentioned who saved him from the Sludge Villain. It is nice to meet you Baku-kun!"

Katsuki felt like he got hit with something that caused his chest to explode. Fuck it, this girl is cute.
